Thanks for sharing the family time.enjoy your dad as much as you can.sometimes its hard to deal with old cranky men but you only get one nick.take care
Nick As7k your father if he remembers a boat captain by the name Huge Brown? He ran out of Holiday Isle. In 1963 he threw a scuba tank on me and said go at it boy. It was fun until I ran into a shark a lot bigger than I was and I swam back to the boat and said I had enough for the day. We were anchored up on the 1733 ship wreck pulling lobster and cooking them on board. We went back in 1986 and ran into Hugh and he said the fishing was not like it used to be. He said you should book a trip to Cay Sal with me. Sadly we never did and Hugh passed away.
Just wanted to say that I enjoy y'alls videos tremendously. You involve your dad with everything that you do. I learned everything I know which is mostly shore fishing from my dad and I wouldn't be the man I am today without his guidance. Thanks for making such great videos of your adventures.
@@StanzFam you guys are remarkable fisherman, please keep up the great work and keep the videos rolling for us that don't have the opportunities that you do. It keeps a dream alive for all of us. Thank you very much. Veterans like me love watching these kinds of memories. It's what keeps us going throughout our years, remembering what's it like to be with family and friends making memories.
Prepping a snapper on the deck of Catch 22, cook and eat is ABSOLUTELY SICK ‼️ HOPE DAD GOT TO EAT SOME‼️ FANTASTIC VIDEOS GUYS, THANK YOU FOR SHARING ‼️ ‼️ ‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
@@StanzFam I saw your post about that, right after I posted this! 🤦♂️ epic content though man, really hoping for some collabs on that new beast of a Freeman, too! DMFD, Gabe and Kelly 🙏
Nick, I enjoy your videos man, makes me want to go fishing at 1 am in the morning. Say hello to your dad and your uncle. You guys use to spend a lot of time at my family's lodge in Mangrove Cay over 30 years ago.
When I was a kid back in the 60s early 70s we hand cranked all of our golden tiles off Miami in 500+ft of water. The old men used us as winders with 9/0 senators. Was always wondering how many drops we were good for! The good old days before electrics. lol 😂
Ahhh! I remember those days when you had to work hard as hell deep dropping. It takes me back to my childhood hand cranking yellow eyes in the Bahamas.
I’m taking my son to the keys for a father/son scuba/snorkel trip for his senior year in high school. My dad did the same with me,we went to Scottsdale,AZ for a golf trip.
Been a fun journey to watch yalls trip an ride along with yall.. I can see internet to post vids are few an between but I've been waitin every drop to stay along for the ride.. Great vid bud.. Memories with Pop is irreplaceable.. Enjoy em while you can.. I lost mine at age 55..

Pretty cool!! A legit catch, cook and clean while never leaving the boat. And although everyone was hungry, I know it was good because they kept going back for more! Great video!!
Some of us can only dream of doing a trip like that. Grew up watching Florida/ Bahamas fishing. Recently moved to Florida. Hopefully get down to Bud and Mary’s soon. Awesome series Nick.
great job in grilling up that snapper and the fishing is always great in the out islands in the Bahamas remember the Bahamas is made up of 700 islands please enjoy my island as you pass through
When I was fishing with my dad back in back inthe early 80's, those "jacks" you guys were catching, eg black jack etc, we called them "Black Travelly, Golden Travelly, Silver Travelly, and my goodness, they were one of the top lists of sumptuous fish fishes. None went back overboard.
You need to cook another one for your Dad now, because you guy's devoured that one.... LOL. You need to get more cooking oil and flower and fry your Dad some snapper and hush puppies and coleslaw I bet he would be one happy man, you only have 1 Dad make sure he's always happy with his age trust me you will miss him when he's not around anymore, I know and it hurts me every day and it been 8 years so keep on keeping on and keep the old man happy.. and remember Claire approved.......

Nick, that was a great trip with your pops. Wish I could do that with mine, but he's 86 and probably wouldn't be too good out on the deep ocean.
