Conchata Ferrell was one of the funniest women in TV ever. You know her career went way back? I was watching a 1974 episode of The Rockford Files the other day. There she was! She looked gorgeous, so young and fresh, in a slim-fitting suit and coiffed hair. I knew her immediately, though. Those pretty green eyes and that voice, that hilariously sarcastic delivery! RIP Conchata, always a huge favorite of mine.

Why didn't Allen inherit his house, money and song rights? They tried to repeat the same old leach situation with Kelso. The writers had no new material. They should of gone with Allan the rich guy and he takes on a roommate who is a leach. If Charley had three mortgages on the house he would of charged Allen to stay there. Thus it was paid for.

It could’ve been a funny show, especially since they made a Young Sheldon, and with all the stories they told in the show it could make a interesting episode. They could call it the Harpers maybe, and show their dad in a episode or two.
Timing that was certainly not easy. Most of the actresses were already involved in new projects and were certainly not enthusiastic about traveling for a scene. Especially since only a few had some lines. Most of them were just decoration. In addition, all the women had to travel for a scene. That was certainly one of the most expensive scenes. On the other hand, they showered Charlie and Aston with money, so it shouldn't have been difficult from a financial point of view.

You know what I liked about Charlie in this show? He found himself at the end of his life. He realized true love really is the ultimate fantasy when he proposed. He realized he needed to settle down, grow up and realized you can't stay at the party forever. I miss this show.
Season 8 was the end of show and of the Charlie character, all the storylines were closed, they reminiscing about the previous episodes and there was nothing more to do with the Charlie character or the show. Can't believe they were planning to bring Charlie back regardless of what happened
