In realtà in Italia è stata mandata in onda anche una pubblicità di 6 minuti riguardante proprio il cambio di trasmissione da analogico a digitale, ed è stato documentato anche dai vari TG Regione. Per quanto riguarda i decoder DVB-T hai ragione, sono diventati obsoleti in Italia da qualche mese, ed al posto di questi ultimi, i decoder dovranno essere di tipo DVB-T2. Purtroppo, anche se per legge i vecchi decoder dovrebbero essere fuori mercato, se ne trovano ancora parecchi in giro, specialmente su quelli integrati nelle TV più piccole e quelli venduti a parte.

They only shut down in the US in 2009. Other countries like the UK finished shutting down their TV's in 2012, Australia in 2013 and Mexico in 2015 and some still have them working. So really you can watch analog TV's today but you're not in the right place
