Pinhead Crickets on the Run

Baby crickets (+5,000) running in all directions.
A measured amount of day-old crickets are being dropped into a bin of food. Most choose to run away and will return to the food later in the evening.

No, if done right, with proper food, maintenance and good air/moisture content, you can usually fit a max of 1000 adult crickets per 80L space.

Hey guys! We are doing a science experiment where we measure survival rates of crickets in different environments. But first we need a way to roughly measure the number of pinheads we are introducing. We figured by volume of ML, but how many first instar pinheads would be in 10 or 100 MLs? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
