Badass Brooder
Thank you! :)
Very cool. Excellent build and commentary. The background music combined with your voice is so relaxing.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'll have to invest in a better mic for commentary. I had fun making the bin and editing the vid!
Very clever..... Well done.
Thank you very much!!!
Heat lamps can cause fires
Amazing ingenuity on your part! Awesome build too. Thanks for sharing. I may use this idea to build my quail brooder.
Thank you so much! I am so happy you liked it! Best of luck on your brooder build!
How many chicks can you put in there??
I would stick to 15-20 chicks max for the first 3-4 weeks with supplemental trips outside. After about 6 weeks, if the weather is right, they should spend all day (weather permitting) outside and only sleep in brooder so they can get acclimated to their coop/outdoors. Depending on the size of the breed, you can fit more or less. Size matters!
I wish I had seen this sooner! Great build. Thank you!
@@mbarbaris3923 thank you very much!
Seems pretty straight forward and easy to build! Thanks for sharing. make more chick video updates
Thank you! Keep your eyes peeled for more chicky goodness! Spring is right around the corner!
Very good idea! Also, being a tote to start with, once chick's are ready to go out to the coop all of the accessories can just be put inside and put away until the next time. That keeps everything together and handy. Very nice!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Exactly! Perfect for storing and staying organized season after season! :)
