I have a Tesla high power wall connector and a Tesla mobil connector (previous model s owner) I'm about to take delivery of a ford lightning. I didn't want to buy fords wall charger, so I opted for this adapter instead. now I'm future proofed because most manufactures are going nacs !

I just bought a Ford Lightning and have a question about your video. Around 3:52 you talk about "telling your car to use less power", is that something you have to do for a Ford Lightning? I'm new to the EV game and not sure how I'd do this. Also, I'm getting a free adapter so I can use Tesla's Superchargers. Will that adapter work on the "destination" Tesla chargers too?
I have a BMW I4. What do I use as an adaptor for the tesla superchargers?

Can you review the new DC charging NACS to CCS1 adapters by A2Z EV and by Lectron, and test them both with your Ford Lightning and your Rivian R1T on a V3 Tesla Supercharger? Please be sure to tell us how fast each one charges with each vehicle, and which one you guys would recommend. Thanks!
Which is it $149 or $139? And why don't they design one that can be used to charge at a Supercharger station?

@@Resist4 if you don't understand the tech behind these adapters and whats being achieved, you shouldn't even have one. Comments like yours are not new to me. 99% of the population would plug 30 amps into a 20 amp circuit and then complain because they have to reset the breaker all the time. They'll do that until they're tired of it and then they call an electrician, where they're then notified there's nothing wrong with the outlet or circuit and you're overloading it. Volts and amps matter. That's why this isn't compatible. This isn't USPS "if it fits, it ships." There's more rules.

Thank you Jesse. I'm a natural pedant but even I recognize that people call them chargers because they use them to charge. And EVSE isn't a catchy name.
People should just say charging connectors, which is what they are.

Also note that this would be for Tesla chargers in universal mode. There is a Tesla-specific mode on the Wall Connectors, I believe, and they might be in that mode.
what is this universal mode you speak of? never heard of it.

No. but this adapter isn't high current. And it doesn't have the DC pins.
