Tom was my grandad,an amazing man
The fireman at 2.54 is my dad this bit of film was filmed on the long more military railway on what’s was David Shephard 9f black prince it was film by ivo peters my dad fired left handed and has still got the same watch and shovel to this day he is now 83 years young 🙏

We had Lea Mills a big yard on edge of East London we used to play around the wagons and be chased away by staff but we were quicker and never thought what we did was dangerous..
The Goods Roads were derelict for years I think part was used for Olympic Park..
