Very nice selection this time around. I was looking seriously into a couple of the bikes in this video as my next e-bike upgrade. My favorites were a little more than I wanted to spend… Tried to stay under $2500. Looked real long and hard at that Road Warrior… Just a tad too pricey/heavy for me. Keep pumping out the vids man, you’re great!
Excellent assortment, and this makes a good reference for shoppers. I think the Fabulous Route 66 and the Spark Bandit are my favorites. The Bandit is pretty much limitless and has a frame that will take a head-on collision with a car and not be damaged. I personally know a guy that can do 90mph on his modded Bandit. I like the Grizzly, but can't bear the seat. Sorry for the bad joke... I'll see myself out now 😜
Buy an e-bike where you can get service don't just buy something in whim thinking you're going to get good service for the parts and warranty. This is very important
You are doing an awesome job with your video agreat service to us the consumers. I have been watching your videos from the get go. I just received my new Wired Crusier and have to thank you for helping me make that choice. I've built 4 ebikes from Ebikeling conversion kits and wanted to try a premade bike this time around. TY again --Glenn from NH .
My decision was based on where I live and how the roads are. We don't have many bike lanes and even thoughs are dangerous because the speed limit is 55-60 on most our local roads you get cars and trucks buzzing by you and close at times. I first bought a 20mph fat tire bike wasn't gonna cut it and so I picked up a bomber clone 65mph, bigger heavier and more noticeable lol.
i have lots of 45mph roads with no shoulder around me, that's why i am liking th 40mph bikes, at least you can scoot down the road somewhat safely for a bit.
@@CitizenCycle925Many of the roads I ride are like that also. After watching a bunch of your videos I bought a Wired Freedom. Just received it earlier this week. I feel much safer traveling down road like that now. Thank you.
Curious. Do you ever take any of your E bikes on the gravel roads in NC ? I ride dual sport motorcycles in W NC and am considering E bikes as well for some of these areas. Interested in your thoughts on how some of these would perform. Thanks!
Thank you -- excellent content and appreciate the timecode and links in the description. I think you should state the list price for each bike at the start of the video section for each bike.
Where would Euphree City Robin Plus fit into this mix? I watched your video on that bike and am getting ready to buy a pair of them. I enjoy your videos!! Thanks!
I'll probably put the city Robin in the next video I do like this. I was trying to stick to the fat tires for this one. The City Robin x Plus has the best finishings of any bike I've had. It's a fantastic design. You won't be disappointed.
I have the first edition of the City Robin and love it! Being 6’2, the adjustable handlebar stem and Suntour seat post adjust enough to give me full extension while pedaling. I often ride without power since it’s very easy to pedal with the 27.5x2.10 tires. The folks at Euphree are very helpful if you have questions or need assistance. No regrets. Looking forward to Citizens review!
I just love your channel. You have given me lots of info. I’m going to purchase the Himiway cobra and thinking of making the changes you have minus the awd. Thanks for your advice.
Another fantastic video. Thank you Citizencycle 😊 hard choices to make. But I think I'd go for the fabulous road warrior. I'm a sucker for speed and looks like a fun bike on and off road.
Category you are missing is the folding 66lb class 3 that still fits in an elevator. lectric xp3 is baseline comparison in that category. But there are quite a few alternatives with more power, range, torque in the category. Basically, 28mph top speed, 65-70nm torque in 20x4 wheels, and 52t crank is good enough performance wise. I know you like way more torque and speed, but you know.... there's just a lot between the xplite and everything else in your list.

Have you seen swift pro AWD $1600 35mph? Full supension 23ah 48volt lg cells NO tire rubbing on the controller fixed via shock that limits the travel that was already limited by the controller even more, consider this bike about $400 less with two 1000watt motors and no issues with limiting your suspension to avoid destroying your controller. Not buying wired ebike. Swift pro ebike on my radar.
Fabulous Road Warrior here is interesting. I think on your other video of 9 bikes, you had the Electric Bike Company Model E, and the Aventon Aventure 2. These 3 are the best choices imo. Full disclosure ... based on your reviews I bought the Aventon.

Overpriced, even the Kepler is overpriced, just be a little more patient, if you weigh over 200 lbs your probably going to want at least 1500 Watts, I'm not sure if the 52Volts when you have 1500 Watts or 2,000 Watts of power is an absolute must, I wouldn't think so, however let me ask you something: Are you likely going to ride on city streets from say dead stops at stop sign for say 25% of the time? (if you are, than having 52 Vots might be more important for your safety so you can qucily accelerate and get the jump on cars from stop signs and traffic signals, (but this means little, if your going to be riding the ebike 80% of the time ''off road'' P.S. do you weigh over 250 lbs?
