I can’t fault pop singers who use backing tracks for these demanding performances . They have a mic that is on, perhaps not on high, your video proves most of her show is full of capable audio techs who can cut off a back track when needed. But her “acoustic “ session where she sings mashups is her really singing. But she and tons of pop stars rely on packing tracks. Especially during choreography and times she’s unsure if she can hit a particular note. TH-camr/talented musician Wings of Pegasus makes videos on this. It’s just a fact. It’s a 200 venue show 2:30hours. She is human. Let’s just normalize this is something ppl do to create the best show for each crowd.
But wing of Pegasus used two videos given to him and didn't check if the source was reliable. Where those video original or edited. SHE SANG IDENTICAL ON BOTH and only the background noise was different. lol. I saw enough ERAS streamings and I can confirm that she doesn't sing IDENTICAL on every show. In Singapore, after so many shows, her voice was horse. I saw videos of the Eras tour that have been edited with the sound from the original album, and not even the Taylor's Version. And tech people aren't FORTUNE TELLERS and they can't magically predict when and where she is going to stop to talk to someone, cough etc.
Taylor is always singing live, sometimes she lets back track and back up singers take over in certain songs or certain parts of a song but she's always singing live over it. Haters only say she's lip-syncing because she sounds really good, because apparently there's not a chance that during pandemic when she had nothing else to do she worked with a vocal coach and in preparation for the tour she put out some extra work to improve her singing.
She still has to improve a lot more to be on the level of Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Beyonce and other great vocalists. She is currently at the level of Britney Spears albeit with a lot of acid and steroids and help from backing tracks. If she doesn't write her own songs she won't be a force to be reckoned with. She is a singer-songwriter. Even the best of the best lip syncs sometimes.
and honestly, even if she did ever lip sync, that should never be seen as a bad thing. Voices/throats are not invincible body parts. Singers need to take care of their bodies or else they will live with damage forever and it will ruin the art form they love so much. I don't think any artist is lesser for protecting their voice and using backing tracks to take over.
I always say that Taylor is way more a regular person than most regular people I know personally. She is unashamedly human and that's why people love her because she makes you feel like you deserve the same love ahe receives simply because you are a person who exists and tries to do right. Also, I am astounded she doesn't make MORE mistakes especially with all of her mash ups and how many songs she has to perform in rapid succession.

You are right 😊this is exactly why she has the fan base she does. It’s because she is one of us and we can all relate to her on some level. I am almost 53 but I remember first love and heartbreak and then the happiness of real love. She is human and cares about her fans and from all accounts is just the loveliest person.
During those summer shows she had her eyes on everyone making sure they got water. After that fan passed away from the heat at show, she turned eagle eye to make sure it never happened again. She cares about all her fans and makes sure it's safe. I'm 60 yr old new Swiftie and I really admire her for care.

There are countless, countless videos where it's clear she is performing live. Yet we have that clown that just loves to bring artists down. Is there a section of the 1989 era where she is going in and out of the backing vocals to a pre record. Yes, I think there is. And of course it's the one part that guy tries and analyzes. It's also the part where she does the most choreography. Alot of artist do it. I've been in the front row for three different tours including Eras and it is clear she's singing live. I can literally hear her. Is there 4 backup singers, backing tracks, yes, of course. Most artists doing this type of show uses it. My brother worked on Reputation tour and said she was singing live with the same stuff. There's so many videos where she messes up and you can also clearly hear her live. Everything just stops. So it's obviously live. The argument that she's lip syncing or "miming" as stupid as that sounds is beyond ridiculous.
And when that guy does break down and admit, ok maybe she really is actually singing live, he swears there must be a heavy amount of auto tune happening. And of course his fans go crazy in the comments, tearing down not only Taylor but her fans, and it’s just gross.

They lip sync every now and then if not the whole song at least parts of it. It is very common with many others as well. It's no secret. Even the greatest of the great do it every now and then like Freddie Mercury and Whitney Houston. The trick is to know when they do this kinda thing. It's only a shame if you do it all the time.
@@ThelSuperlKingshe doesn’t lip sync at all tho. the IEM feed from Lyon night 2 was leaked and we hear that her vocals are just heavily blended with her four backing vocalists during songs like shake if off. you can still hear her raw vocals but in the IEM feed, it’s clear that they mix it to sound like the studio version. she also doesn’t have many reverb effects on her mic.

another thing I think makes Taylor feel relatable and accessible [tho she doesn't do it on purpose] is that a lot of the times she has to look at her fingers when playing guitar and piano. I’m not a hater promise as you can tell by my TH-cam name. I only listen to Taylor’s music and watch eras tour every chance I get on Disney plus. Rain shows are her favorite and staying on beat while telling security to back off was extremely impressive as are so many of the errors where she just keeps going. I feel so bad for Taylor having swallowed so many bugs! Your reaction is very fun! While other people were locked down for COVID Taylor definitely put in the work with a vocal coach it’s easy to tell if you compare first time singing a song live versus now! People love to discredit Taylor cuz it makes them feel better about their own favs falling short to her level of success. I went to the eras tour and she sings LIVE, for upbeat pop songs there is always backtrack playing but that’s literally industry standard, her mic stays ON, she is everything 👏🏽
I do think she uses pitch correcting software, so she’s not quite as vocally steady naturally as her shows make her look. However, that doesn’t really bother me. Taylor’s never been a vocal aficionado and it’s not what I go to her for. Besides, it still takes a lot of work and stamina to run the show the way she does even with some tech help. She’s definitely not just miming the whole thing.
Well, as my dad would always say when I showed him Pink singing live and perfectly in pitch while swinging upside down on trapeze bars, then show him the times she messed up words to dispute his claim she was just lip synching while swingimg...the mess ups were planned just to try to convince people that she was truly singing the whole song while swinging upside down or on ribbons....he thought all the messups were faked and planned just to try to shut up the naysayers, and her mic was only briefly turned on and she only would sing live for those few moments to purposefully make the mistake or forget words. Then he believed she would go back to lip syncing because he just could not believe a pop star singer could sing so well while exerting herself on the trapeze bars or dangling from a ribbon. I just gave ever up trying to convince him as she is still singing live while doing amazingly energtic performances to this day, in my opinion at least! So he would probably believe all these coughs and calls for help for audience members...were all preplanned as well, were he still alive and we got into this argument.

I watched an interview with Travis Kelce and he said that Taylor Swift is sings 45 Songs at every show of her Eras Tour, and that the show is anywhere from 3.5 to 4 hours long.
Also, I wanna point out- when I went to the eras tour, her voice was very loud/clear. But when I watched my recordings, her voice sounded pretty faint/drowned out at times. This is why I said that before you accuse her of lip syncing, you must actually attend the eras tour concert and listen to her in person.

It's pretty welll known that she doesn't speak on the day she performs to save her voice, too. That wouldn't be the case if she was lip syncing 🤷🏼♀️
in my tears ricochet one she was singing and she coughed then carried on she had backvocals singing in that songs cauuse its about a funeral
another thing I think makes Taylor feel relatable and accessible [tho she doesn't do it on purpose] is that a lot of the times she has to look at her fingers when playing guitar and piano. Some people are so good at multi tasking with singing that they don't have to, but she generally has to and idk it makes her feel more 'human' in a way like yeah she's super talented, but she can't do it without looking

I am a big Tay fan, but I do think, out of necessity she MAY sometimes use tracks. Almost everyone does, and I am glad because it could save her voice in the long run. That clip during tears ricochet sounds like maybe, but it also seems she has a cold. The show must go on. I blew out my voice performing while sick and it’s never been the same.
People who haven’t attended the eras tour shouldn’t be allowed to accuse her of lip syncing (cough cough David grohl and Taylor Swift haters on Twitter).
I went to the eras tour in February, and it’s so obvious that she’s singing live. Unfortunately, Taylor Swift sings really well, which confuses those with pea sized brains.

I love the errors on the eras tour proves she’s human and is indeed singing live but over backing track sometimes and will let backing vocalists take over when needed. I’m not a hater promise as you can tell by my TH-cam name. I only listen to Taylor’s music and watch eras tour every chance I get on Disney plus. Rain shows are her favorite and staying on beat while telling security to back off was extremely impressive as are so many of the errors where she just keeps going. I feel so bad for Taylor having swallowed so many bugs! Your reaction is very fun! While other people were locked down for COVID Taylor definitely put in the work with a vocal coach it’s easy to tell if you compare first time singing a song live versus now! Over 3 hours long with 44 or 46 songs that’s incredible vocal stamina and no breaks!🫶🫶❤️❤️🔥🔥👑👑✨✨

People love to discredit Taylor cuz it makes them feel better about their own favs falling short to her level of success. I went to the eras tour and she sings LIVE, for upbeat pop songs there is always backtrack playing but that’s literally industry standard, her mic stays ON, she is everything 👏🏽

I do think she uses pitch correcting software, so she’s not quite as vocally steady naturally as her shows make her look. However, that doesn’t really bother me. Taylor’s never been a vocal aficionado and it’s not what I go to her for. Besides, it still takes a lot of work and stamina to run the show the way she does even with some tech help. She’s definitely not just miming the whole thing.
Well, as my dad would always say when I showed him Pink singing live and perfectly in pitch while swinging upside down on trapeze bars, then show him the times she messed up words to dispute his claim she was just lip synching while swingimg...the mess ups were planned just to try to convince people that she was truly singing the whole song while swinging upside down or on ribbons....he thought all the messups were faked and planned just to try to shut up the naysayers, and her mic was only briefly turned on and she only would sing live for those few moments to purposefully make the mistake or forget words. Then he believed she would go back to lip syncing because he just could not believe a pop star singer could sing so well while exerting herself on the trapeze bars or dangling from a ribbon. I just gave ever up trying to convince him as she is still singing live while doing amazingly energtic performances to this day, in my opinion at least! So he would probably believe all these coughs and calls for help for audience members...were all preplanned as well, were he still alive and we got into this argument.

Also, I wanna point out- when I went to the eras tour, her voice was very loud/clear. But when I watched my recordings, her voice sounded pretty faint/drowned out at times. This is why I said that before you accuse her of lip syncing, you must actually attend the eras tour concert and listen to her in person.
We all know the piano and guitar segments are live. These are acoustic sets. They change every show. The mash ups are different everytime.

She performs three and a half hours in constant movement. Multi nights in a row. I was in Atlanta. Does it bother me that she has background tracks in this setting, HELL NO. If I was in a concert hall with several hundred folks and she is just playing on stage i would have a problem with it. Folks just cant help themselves trying to bring a good thing down. Never seems to work with TS. G reat show and performance. Enough said.
