FINALLY!!!!!Ive been searching for this kind of video. I am new to rubber base gel, due to now trying to bring my nails back to life after back to back gel x application. I have tons of dip powder that I did not want to go to waste bc now I’m only using rubber base. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! You have saved me so much stress by putting this video out there that it CAN indeed be done!!!! -❤Nurse MJ
OMG I just had a dip powder nail fall off and decided to try and use the gel base to fix it. I didn't do this with the others. When I tell you this was a game changer. I ended up with a dang near perfect nail and barely needed to file. Usually I have to file so much and get a lot of lumps and bumps out. I plan to soak off all my nails and redo them with gel base first then my dip powder. Thank you so much.
Hello, love watching your videos. Learned a lot about going dip nails. Will be trying rubber soon. Is the removal process the same as your dip removal?
Late to the party: did you have cracking? I had that issue with a gel top coat when using rubber base. But rubber base works so well with my nails and I've got a bunch of dips from my journey to figure out what works with my nails.
@dottydarling01 - Yes, at times I did experience cracking. That’s when I started playing around with different powder/gel combos. You phrased it perfectly “figure out what works with your nails.”😍
Hello! I am using Primer or a PH Bond. In many cases both products are used together. I only use the “activator” after all dip layers have been applied to start the curing process.
@@naildipstudio Hey love so you don't use a base liquid right before dipping into the powder. Is the liquid you are applying right before dipping a Primer or PH Bond?
I thought you had to ruff the surface of the rubber base before applying step 2 of the dip liquids. This method will save some time. How long does the set last for?
thanks for the video! quick question- so after doing rubber base gel do you not put a top coat over that? i found my rubber base gel was very sticky/impressionable after curing it for even longer than 2 minute. would it affect my dip base liquid at all?
Hello @daniellem4534 - after you apply/cure your rubber base gel - use some alcohol and a lent free wipe and wipe off the “tacky layer” then apply your dip powder.
Yes! Would love a video on how to sharpen nail tools :)

Can you reverse and do builder gel over dip after activator step?
@brookerochelle013 - Yes, you can apply BIAB over dip powder. I’ll make a tutorial for you 😊
Can you do this method with nail tip?
Yes, you can. I have a video coming soon to show you 😍……

What product is she using right before the powder ?
I know some dip kits come with activator . Is that what she is using ?

My set usually lasts for 2-3 weeks depending on my activities 😎
@naildipstudio So the dip doesn't pop off? I thought rubber base was too smooth to fix dip powder.
You said put base at this point and then cure? Are you using a gel top coat that you need to cure?? 39:37
Does it work better than the dip top coat?
I did my sis nails and I felt like they came out a little gritty in some areas like you could see the graininess? How can avoid that!!???
