Zoho support is absolutely terrible, the worst I've had from any SaaS by a mile. They don't understand English properly and have caused us nothing but headaches with missed promises and misunderstandings of simple english. The system is just a thrown together mess of apps, they all integrate separately with Microsoft 365 and still use SMTP Auth for mail sync, which is now considered insecure. Ask them about their data privacy and redundancy and see what answer you get, we got 3 different ones. Their backup method is sketchy, they can't provide open information on methods it and doesn't meet basic DR/BCP requirements. Honestly, can't recommend them to anyone, and will be using another service as soon as we can find a way to get all our data out properly.
Hello! Zoho intial support is not the best, that's why we as Zoho Partners offer technical support bundles, you can find more info here: en.crmoz.com/zoho-technical-support
Hi, good video, and thanks for the info. I’d like to ask if we can compare our views on price for both solutions. I’m calculating the annual price for a company of, let’s say, 20 people. Please correct me if I’m misunderstanding the pricing for both solutions. Zoho One with all employee pricing: $30*20*12 = $7200. Odoo with the enterprise plan on a local server: $13.6*20*12 + $420 annual server = $3684. Odoo results being 48% cheaper. Would you say that paying almost double for Zoho is justified by the advantages of Zoho over Odoo that you mentioned in your video?
Hello, thank you! Odoo pricing configurator says that it will be $4386 for a team of 20. Odoo licence is now cheaper after they changed the pricing model, but it also resulted in loosing most of their small partners due to a high partner fee and smaller comission, so implementation, integration, customization, tech support of Odoo will cost more than Zoho. Whether it is justified or not depends on the needs of your company and a field you are working in: Zoho has a lot of leading apps in some of the categories, Odoo in others.
Hello It seems better to divide the price into three categories 1- The starting price 2- The price of customization 3- Software life cycle price And for further explanation 1- Yes, the starting price for Odoo is lower 2- Development costs for Odoo depend on the professionalism of your company's IT officials or the hiring of professionals for development. Of course, this section means that your indirect costs will increase. And worse, if a professional outside your workplace develops the system, it may compromise your security. 3- In this case, the policies of both companies should be studied
