Your videos have been so helpful and inspiring! I hope you're still skating, it's been so encouraging to watch your vids. I'm a 32yo lady and it's just so reassuring to see people my age or older try skating again. it's like we're all reviving the early 2000s trying to be skater kids haha! i love it.
Thanks for this! I’ve been out from skating for almost 11 weeks due to torn ligaments in my ankle. This is encouraging to keep up with exercises and not give up! For the most part I’ve stayed pretty positive and healing up well. But at times that fear of “will I ever skate again?” hits me. Awesome work with your recovery!
Super encouraging video! I’m getting back into skating after about 18 years. Rolled my ankle at the park a few days ago, but working on getting better so I can get back out there.
Skateboarding has put me back in the game, an injury from a couple of weeks ago has essentially healed an old major injury (foot reconstruction) I had planned on damaging it further to get something done with it in terms of operation, so I embarked on my final skate, and twisted the ankle (as I always used to). It still hurts with some movements, but it has for years with most movements and any weight bearing, but when I've warmed it up I have almost a full range of motion again, and it's finally starting to learn endurance! I plan to get back to skating, but first I'm focusing on bringing my fitness back up, and getting some strength and mobility back into my weak points. Is that a bernese mountain dog puppy? It's awesome!
Sweet vid! I hurt my knee around 2 weeks ago but have no idea what’s wrong with it. I’ve stayed off the board since then giving it time to heal this video is definitely some motivation!
I’ve started wearing knee gaskets as a matter of course to give my knees support and protect from minor bashes and scrapes. 187 Killer pads do some excellent ones. They’ve lasted months and don’t slip down.
I stopped skating at 16 when I shattered my ankle.. I just started skating again at 33 with my 6 year old son and it's been a blast.. the shinners tho daaaayum
Great video!! You may get this a bit bit you resemble Rodney Mullen to a degree.😊

Awesome! Good luck with it, and yeah I'm still trying to get on my board a few times a week.

Yeah I'm recovering from a rolled ankle too. Give it time, but we'll be back out there soon enough!

Good luck with the recovery! Yep, she's a berner, much bigger now though!
Awesome it hurts more when you fall for sure! Got myself some protection lately pads, helmet, wrist guards etc!

Cool video man, I’ve really enjoyed it :)

Awesome! FP Insoles makes some nice shin guards, I won't skate without them now.
I always pad up, and at times wear tortoise pads. But perhaps unlike others, it still doesn't give me a sense of security (to do anything sketchier.)
I have been thinking of getting back into skating. I still have a board and shoes. Can still do tricks just don't want to get hurt lol I am 33.
Don't show off. skate for fitness and fun. and know your limits. 6 kickflips a day max
