Mistake, when they know where to send the boll then why aren't taking first touch towards the receiver, rather than receiving the boll ( perticular phase / body language) then adjusting body to take shot ( another phase/ body language) and , I will tell you in person practically 😀👍, okay keeping the boll close to your either foot will hold you slowed and you will have to dribble your way up in a real game , so better take a first touch in the desired direction and sprint after the boll rather than wasting seconds for dribbling and use that bolless moment to plan your next move accordingly 😊, you missed the chase oh the defender mannequin 😁
I kind of agree with what you’re saying, but that would be like the third part of the drill, the main focus here is game play IQ or really working that triangle and moving into position correctly, in a game play scenario, the one touch in the right direction will come because the intensity of the pass will be 10x. No?
Fundamental basic technique not being addressed. Each player should controlling the ball with the back foot and opening up their body. Pushing the ball across your body with the opposite fort is not technically correct.
kinda dumb. at those angles, if those were real defenders they would have taken the ball. The ball should be kicked to the outside foot away from defender.
How is this "kinda dumb"? This teaches players the importance of triangle passing and opening their body up away from the defender. He even mentions this at some point in the video, to open the ball up and carry it away from the defender, using your body as a barrier to shield the ball. This drill isn't meant to keep the ball away from the defender, rather the importance of triangles
