man this is so cool. I didn't check to see if you posted the set list so each song is a surprise. It's really exciting hearing this! I was lucky enough to see Barkmarket play 3 times live (twice in one day too!) They played a record store here where I live in San Diego during the day. They played about 45 minutes and honestly Dave would just play whatever we asked a song or two into the set. They did Curio which was my request. They hung out a bit with us after that gig and then we all went to see them that night. That club is called the Casbah and it was a great show. Dave hung out with us after the show for a bit and talked with us that night too which was really cool. My grandfather who raised me was from Flatbush Brooklyn (talking 1920-1945 he lived there), so even though I grew up and lived my whole life in San Diego...occasionally people will ask me if I am from New York because they pick up on the accent I guess I got from him. I asked Dave if he lived close to there and he laughed and said...it's a LOT different than when your grandfather lived there. hahah My dream still to this day is to have Dave produce something I write and record (I am a comicbook artist now but still play and sing) My first band got a review in a small magazine and the review said our band sounded like it had the charm of black sabbath with the bite of barkmarket. I went...ok who is Barkmarket, got the CD and was a fan really ever since. (this was just before Gimmick came out..) Only Vegas Throat was out at that time. anyway. sorry I went on and on. I rarely get to geek out on barkmarket and no one I know (now) even would know who they are. But they are still one of my favorite bands! so screw it. lol My Peacekeeper vinyl is signed by the whole band which is super cool~! :)
