@@DanTheWolfman I love the police trade in p229s with the DAK system. I found one for 450 dollars and 25 dollars for shipping and handling. For an all metal, smooth double action, modern handgun, I cannot think of a better deal. I’m gonna work my ass off and buy it. God bless the USA. 🇺🇸
I think 9mm is probably the weakest caliber you would want to have in most self defense situations that require deadly force but a well placed .22LR can work well too.
The 3953 is NOT a lady's gun. Sure...it's a good choice but the "LS" model is actually designed for women. I'm a 235 lb dude, and I still trust my 3953 as a carry gun for myself.
I've been carrying for over 30 years and frequently carry this exact weapon.
Cheers, SUB and go through my vids
I passed one up some years back. I still kick myself.
It's a perfect 9 shot revolver for beginners lol
I love DAO semi auto handguns… sue me I wanna save a buck man 😂.
OK what is your favorite?

It's kinda more like what allows me to get 2-3 good hits to the body upper thoracic to stop someone fairly quickly
That’s why police is using 9mm. Anything less than 10mm is a squib round.
9mm Makarov (9x18) would be my minimum. .380 (9x17) is a no-go.
@@DanTheWolfman 3 reasonable options: 8 rounds of 45 ACP, 11 rounds of .40 SW, or 14 rounds of 9mm Luger.
@@johnfarrar7448 agreed to my comfort level 8+1 .45, 12+1 .40, or 13+1 9mm

I'm so glad you are so secure you didn't need to write all that lol...and the LS model was so liked they made one without the words ladysmith lol.
@DanTheWolfman No need to be offended, Dan. Just putting in my 25 cents worth.
@johnfarrar7448 I'm glad you like it I was just messing though I did short stroke it at false reset once in the range vid
