I liked the video bro, i got some new perspective about playing with this lovely plane i love so much, i had the hight altitude package, but i don't use that so much, its better to use the other option indeed.

I came back to this game after months and I don’t get why they nerfed plane lmgs so much, hmgs are the only viable option now and while I think hmgs should be better lmgs should at least be viable, even the VA spitfire with the 8 lmgs is like a peashooter

My best on conquest was 53-0! Love this plane. Sad thing is when you're up against a 109-G6 you better bring your A game if the enemy pilots are good! And a big time tip for tanks.... When you zoom in you should get a life bar popping up on tanks. And if you see that bar at 50% or less take that damn shot! I have taken out quite a few ground vehicles. My best start on this map for me was 7 kills in a Spitfire right off the start haha! Awesome video Silk. Also you running chase cam??? Does not look like it. Trying to get used to the non chase cam but damn its hard!
I use non chase cam and I've had >400 hours flying like this so it feels like second nature
@@SilkOCE damn! hahaha! I'm going on 6 days of flying LOL! And only have been doing fighter planes for the past two months. But getting a hang of it for sure. Wish there was plane practice maps. As in the training type.

Nice video man! I started flying because of you. The G6 is very op, I remember before the update the specialization for it were pretty good, I liked to use the spotting sight instead of the high altitude package. I never missed a rocket or waste my bullets when I did passes. Anyway happy to see you back in bf!!

I'm just now starting to use planes and the hardest part for me is just spotting movement on the ground but I'm getting their I just need practice is all. Awesome video!
Edit: This plane is the best plane to show how a player is trash without telling me that player is trash and its all thanks to the high alt package lol. If you need high alt on your G-6 to dogfight, you will not survive for long or in any other planes lol 👍
same about bombers, it's annoying as they tank much but if they are good they can destroy your inf/tanks. so my idea: check tab, how the enemy bomber is doing, if good, kill him, if not, let him fly
Yeah that's why I ended up going for them later in the game. Early they were bad but in the end they were kinda doing some work
How to escape dogfights is what i really want to master, because i've noticed it's my worst skill in any FPS. No matter what i do, the enemy always seem to find me, even when slowing down speed etc.
It's definitely the hardest part of flying. You need to use the rear cam and awareness to fly unpredictably
@@SilkOCE it's what i normally do, but still have problems dodging those cannons. I feel like slowing down is my only recipe in this game..or i don't know much about loops..thankyou for the response
Delicious farming as always dude. And kudos for not stooping to using the high alt. Also, not sure if armored fuselage does anything but I've found myself preferring taking that and using the normal guns. Not as much stopping power as the cannons but fast bullet velocity and very focused cone of fire for the occasional strafe and def dont feel particularly lacking in dps in dogfights...

Love your vids but just FYI “war speed” isn’t nitrous oxide, it’s methanol injection.
The BF-106 G6 is my favorite plane too, its just so fun and actually feels useful. Anytime I'm on the German team I'll use the G6 and farm. Also the rockets only do 31 damage per rocket to fighters.
Yeah it's a solid plane for sure, the best right now
"only 31 damage per rocket" 😂 that is already too much damage and sometimes you even get one shot from the rockets.
@@xdecontaminated6268 I wasn't emplying that the rockets don't do enough, damage, I was emplying that they do 31 damage per rocket instead of one shotting planes like Silk said. The only fighter with rockets that can one shot other fighters is the P-51D with the 2 triple rocket tubes. Plus it takes skill to be able to hit them, so 31 per rocket seems fine to me as it rewards those who are able to hit them but at the same time not making them over powered against aircraft.
@@fireball_airsoft they can one shot other planes, I often got one shot from a g6 but i think it only happens when you get a frontal hit by 2 rockets. And they arent that hard to hit compared to the p51 d rockets, the hitbox is pretty big with the g6 rockets.
Great video silk this will help out a lot of new pilots I think though I don't know if you've found that those rockets are even better fired at the rear of tanks they'll even take out heavies in 2 strafe sometimes! I love the spitfire vb though too it's more challenging as you have no emergency repair and the nitrous isn't as good as the g6s but with practice they're amazing
Yeah I was just using the VB last night. Still very fun and a nice challenge compared to the G6
@@SilkOCE also the 50cal on it is pretty good against infantry I've even taken out aa with it a couple of times before I unlocked the rockets what do you think to the a6m5 and equivalent corsair variant?
You should try flying in a new hardcore server, cockpit only and mg strafes are great cause of the health nerf, feels super immersive

How about a ju 88 gameplay, you get a good back gunner to keep planes off ya, it’s a guaranteed 100+ kills

Regarding the weapon wheel
I bound 4th Slot of my planes to E. It eliminates the panic ejection, and with scrolling Up, the 1st weapon is chosen automatically and scrolling down activates my 2nd slot if my plane has it equiped.
This way you have a fast way of switching to Missles/Bombs and back.
EDIT: I bound my 5th Slot to F
I get quite chubby icing tanks - I also think if I can ice tanks it makes it hard for infantry to push hard against my team.
One thing I have notice is if your rockets cross over and then land either side of a tank - they have maximum impact and can destroy smaller tanks in one hit.
I usually stay to my side - strafe and then GTFO with the nitro. I find straying over to the enemies half of the map that my chances of dying increase dramatically.
Rockets are they way to go - there is one or two pilots, tops on pc who still run with bombs who are very good with them - the other pilots who run with bombs aren't very good at landing them.
Personally I prefer to take out the AA.
Yeah I only left the AA alive that time because I needed to try and help the team

I'm hopeless in planes but after watching this I had a decent 30-0 run on Panzerstorm it was a pain though considering all the recons there was hardly any flares managed to nail 6 tanks though 🤗
But AA tanks on spawn are the most annoying, maybe strafing with your wingman to do multiple damage and to take it down is the solution.
Solo you can do some damage to it but by the time you do a second strafe he is back to 100hp cuz of the spawn, and the AA range is op

Ngl I played the bf109 and I feel bad because it’s kinda still op played against them in my most maneuverable spitfire and p51 and still can’t turn fight them and put climb them last played was a long time ago because I quit because I hated that they didn’t fix it
Bf109 was always fast just that prior games powered them down. 109 is such a small plane what did you expect?

My record in Hamada Conquest with the new g6 is 62-3. I use a 15.6 inch laptop. So I think maybe you can get around 80 kills in conquest mode. Btw, Iwo Jima is still playable with Zero A6M5. Getting 100+ kills is easy with this plane

Nice gameplay, might try this out actually. I haven't really flown or played BFV for months. Is it okay on other maps do you think? The amount of resupply stations on Hamada really do make a difference.

Did they nerf this plane? Because the convergence point is a lot closer than it used to be, which means we gotta have to get a lot closer for a accurate shot.

Could be and there's no harm trying a change for it. Pretty sure most of the top controller pilots run max sens though

Those rockets are seriously too good. Everytime at the start of the round. It's an easy 4 kill by destroying the vehicle while the enemy moves towards the objective.
I'm not very good at flying, so what can infantry do to help support they're planes?
Spotting flares and just spotting infantry and tanks in general helps a lot. If you see planes dogfighting you can also get on the AA cannon which helps force the other plane to either leave or die
You can always practice flying on a private server my man, sometimes you just gotta hop in a game tho. Only way to get better is to do it
Every plane is good if you are good I get 150 kills with a g2 or p51 every now and then
The effectively best plane in the game is a BF109 G6 with Rockets and High Altitude Package (HAP)
There is no discussion about it. This setup breaks even seasoned premade pliots and is just rage inducing to fight.
It completely overshadows everything the game can throw at it in the air. An expirienced pilot will just wreck with it.
Even AA can be sniped OUTSIDE *THEIR* MAX RANGE ffs
Yeah I'm aware that this loadout is technically better but unless it's on Panzerstorm where the height ceiling is too low I think it's unfair to use
@@SilkOCE Interesting point on HAP. I for one can't wrap my head around the idea of it beeing unfair.
If you compare the BF109 to other planes, its practically the only thing you have to gain an edge.
Just compare the enemies planes with it. Especially against Americans, you will fly at a disatvantage at lower altitude simply because they are better armed and have more options for maneuvariblity. The G6 comes with a Turbo stock, true but that only serves to even the odds against the enhanced motor upgrade and is easily beaten by the 33% speed increase of the nitrous planes. It is commendable and right to not use it against someobe who clearly does not know how to counter it, but expirenced pilots don't have much of a problem avoiding an alttidude trap.
As I said, it can be reeeaaallly frustraring to play against vets in that tactic, but it doesn't really make it unfair. Also, it isn't as if the other factions don't have access to it.😄

@@tellergaming5643 Ah I hate to say it but that's just practice, I usually use my mouse for those kinda shots and just try my best to track the target
@@SilkOCE I'm on console so it's a bit hard for me since I'm not a very good pilot but a picked a few tips from you playing defense while flying just can't get the hang of tracking
@@tellergaming5643 on console one thing to keep in mind is you want to lead them and more importantly, track their speed/path as they turn when you set up the shot. By modulating throttle you can keep the lead correct and you’re already in the right arc

@@Deep9r The G6 had the Rocket launcher as a Standart Loadout, which could be changed for Butterfly Bombs. It now is the other way around. The problem arises, that you are now oretty much forced to forgo an Agility T3 specc (Tier 3 Middle) which increases maneuverilty just to not suck against everything really.

totally disagree with tanks, main objective is to help your team not to farm. you can kill most tanks with 2 runs so it's not that bad
On heavy tanks they just keep repairing it a waste of time
@@imashbuttons1734 still, you immobilze them and stop the push (breakthrough), it's ptfo in plane, not giving you instant frags but more productive then killing infantry that can be easily revived which doesn't really help your team

All Lobbies are "noob" Lobbies ^^ only 2-5 Players on each side know how to play the game
