Let the piece dry over night before doing the piping. That way if you make a mistake or don't like what you did, it is easier to remove and doesn't really disturb the base frosting.
The fact that you did it for the first time!!! IT TURNED OUT SO SO GOOD!!! I love how unique the spooky one looks and the little pink one looks so cuteee❤
I love this idea you did an amazing job!! One thing I learned after doing things like this and then having a light bulb moment and being like" oh yeah" I think something that would have made this a little easier would be to unhinge the boxes & take them completely apart until they were dry lol
That sounds like fun! It does dry solid! The kind I used dried pretty quickly! I think it was dry to the touch within hours and completely cured in 24 hours! It also depends on how thick it is, but it’s pretty quick. At least it was for the kind I used! I linked it in the description! Hope that helps and hope your project is super fun!!! 💖
That was not my experience! It’s very firm and I even accidentally dropped one of them 😅 and it was perfectly fine! I haven’t tried silicone, so I’m not sure if it would be better 🤷🏼♀️
I make phone stands and decoden phonecases even though I love how the spackle looks it does cave in,I feel like spackle for these types of diys are best for stuff you won't be touching much,I use silicone for these now,the texture isn't the same as spackle but it's durable for sure
i remember i did this but when i put the spackle in the piping bag and squeezed it the top like liquidy idk how to explain it, it just started looking wet
I honestly haven’t tried it on anything else, but I was really impressed with its ability to stick and its durability! I’d say it’s worth the experiment to see 😂
Hi! Thank you so much! I’d say around 48 hours to be 100% dry (especially in the thicker areas). It dries hard, but not crunchy! I actually accidentally dropped one and it all stayed solid and did not crack or crumble at all! Hope that helps!
That’s a great explanation! It comes out soft, then hardens! It’s usually for filling nail holes in walls. Its name here is spackle and that isn’t the name brand, so I’m not sure how else to describe it! I hope that helps!
I used a special type of spackle. And then used palette knives and disposable piping bags to put it on! I linked my supplies in the description. ⬇️ hope that helps 😊

Trying this spackle icing on paper mache cupcakes with my students. Does it dry solid? and how long did it take to completely dry?

Why are your videos so underrated well they don’t deserve to be 💜🩵💙🤍
Awh! That’s so sweet! I’ll keep working hard 😊
Were you able to open the spooky one? Do you recommend spackling it separately from trial and error
It is able to open as well! The spackle holds its shape really well, but is also really flexible too! I tried to avoid the opening of the box too.
Doesn't spackle cave in when you press on it ? Would silicone be better ???
That was not my experience! It’s very firm and I even accidentally dropped one of them 😅 and it was perfectly fine! I haven’t tried silicone, so I’m not sure if it would be better 🤷🏼♀️
@@AnchoredArtDesigns what name spackle you use? Please all name, i need this in my country or something like this. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🦄🌷

Does this spackle mixture work on other stuff like decoden?
I honestly haven’t tried it on anything else, but I was really impressed with its ability to stick and its durability! I’d say it’s worth the experiment to see 😂
Is the drywall plaster toxic?
🎂🧁🍰 yes please more cake videos!
Hi can i use crack filler to make these?
🕷️ love it!
Thank you!! 😊
Hi, I loved the video! How long does it take for the sparkle to dry completely and does it dry hard and crunchy?

Hi! This is so cool!

Thank you so much!! 😊
Oh no! I haven’t had that experience and I don’t know why it would crack. I hope you can fix it!!
I wanna make boxes like this for my bridesmaids in the color of their dresses for my bridesmaid proposal gift
Oh my goodness! That is such a cute idea!!! 🎂
Can iuse Styrofoam to make the cakes and pies
How did you clean off the piping tips?
You can just use soap and water.
Does the foam silicone work ? The spackle non exist in my country
I haven’t used silicone, so I’m not sure 🤷🏼♀️ I hope you find something that can work 😊
How did it take the spackle to dry?
It didn’t take too long at all! It was dry to the touch in a few hours and completely dry in about 24!
awesome thank you!! I can't wait to make my first one!!@@AnchoredArtDesigns
does it crack? :o
It doesn’t! 😊
Do the other ones like this!!
Hii, some Spanish speaker can tell me what spackle means? I mean what material is it? 🥺
It’s found in places like home depot. It’s for patching up holes in the wall and stuff.
That’s a great explanation! It comes out soft, then hardens! It’s usually for filling nail holes in walls. Its name here is spackle and that isn’t the name brand, so I’m not sure how else to describe it! I hope that helps!
