My youngest brother is a pilot for the very rich people, and has flown both the King Air 350 and the Pilatus PC-12 and logged many hours in each. He told me if money didn't matter he would own a PC-12 NGX, he stated that he has made many west coast to east coast trips when the jet stream is helping with a push. But the main reason is the cost of inspections, the Annual is easier he was telling me and one engine is much cheaper. He has been currently flying the GULFSTREAM G650ER for the last 8 or 9 years and is fond of them. He also has time in the Bombardier and Falcons. But his all time fav is the F-18 Super Hornet.
Its $4.39Mil, but dont think you're going to spend only $4.39M. When you factor in its fuel consumption, hangar space, insurance, maintenance, overhauls (prop and engine), you will be well beyond $4.39M. You better have the big bucks to own this beautiful plane.
@@Factory400 it is a gas turbine engine driving a propeller. The term "Jet" came from the first gas turbine powered aircraft that was classified as a turboJET engine which propels the aircraft forward by using a nozzle creating a jet stream of thrust. The PC-12 is a turboprop, it does not use an exhaust nozzle to create thrust, it instead uses a propeller. only turbojet aircraft are considered jets. I cringed too when he called it a Jet, also his pronunciation of FADEC told me he is not very experienced in aviation.
The ONLY thing 99.9% of the population needs to know is that these are nearly $6,000,000 all in plus a few hundred $k per year to operate it after it is fully paid for.
@@fimbo6347 10% of the purchase price is a good rule of thumb. The newer PC-13 NGX os $8M.......Fuel, insurance, hangar fees, mechanic fees, pilot fees...it just adds up. it burns 55 gallons per hour.....
я не понимаю почему жалуются американцы. у вас зарплата в долларах. у нас в России PC-12 два года назад стоил 230 000 000 рублей, а сегодня 470 000 000 :-)
For the same price of a PC12 NGX, you can buy a Hondajet, fly 10,000 feet higher, much faster, quieter, and Garmin 3000. Why travel by a turboprop when you can travel in a twin engine jet with style.
@@ivancajka732 ::: PC12 carries 10 passenger versus Honda ‘s 8. Hence, PC12 carries a bit more weight than Honda, but in practice the difference is not significant.
@@oliverwabwire2836 ::: let’s be real. Most people land their $5-6 million plane on a paved landing strip, not on gravel, soil, grass, or a weed field. Do you enjoy rocks/gravel /sand hitting the bottom of your wing, fuselage, or ingested into the engine? These foreign materials will ruin more than the paint.
@@ubermenschen3636 There's plenty of country clubs with their own grass airstrips.....the versatility of PC-12 in its capacity to utilize these does open up a huge frontier in grabbing those idyllic getaways.
Tactile feel for unusual attitudes? Dude you know nothing about approaching a stall. Also you are pronouncing the name wrong. Obviously you are a paid narrator. But you are doing a good job. Just learn more about aviation.

Beautiful review , thanks !

If any case engine failure happens In sky? What to do next I like 2ingines
You lost me at "this jet"
It's a jet engine driving a propeller. It is a jet. There are turbofan jets and turboprop jets.

This is not a jet. It’s a turboprop
Turboprop is a type of jet engine
Yes that is true, however the type of plane being reviewed here is categorized as a turboprop not a jet.
@@God_has_spoken no, it’s a turbine powered engine, a jet uses a turbine to push air, a turbo prop uses a turbine to turn a propeller.
@@God_has_spoken Sorry, jets and turboprops are types of turbine engines. In no way is a turboprop a jet.
The sequence of images is too hectic and that's why you switch off early
Thanks for the feedback. We will take this into account for future videos.
you will need $300K to $400K per year to own one, even if you pull together the $4M purchase price. waaaaay outta my league
How? Isn't that too much for a single engine craft?
