If I'm going to spend $1,200 on the phone I don't want one single scratch on the screen so yeah I think a screen protector is needed in every situation
Sup case Unicorn Beetle and Otterbox defender pro are my 2 favorites. Glad these 2 made the list. I disagree with Spartan. I've tried Spartan and unfortunately they are sub par. I had to purchase for my fiancee because they didn't have sup cases or otterbox and it damaged his camera and cracked it to bits. Thankfully the rest of the phone is fine. OTTERBOX defender pro made #1 and Sup Case made #3. Sup case should have made #2. Just my opinion. If wanting less bulk go with Sup case and if wanting more protection but having more bulk go for Otterbox defender pro. I have the defender pro. I do miss my sup case with my old S9 but was sad Sup removed their built in screen protector too.
Back in 2017, I purchased a galaxy 8+ phone. If memory serves me correctly, the model phone was the first to offer a curved glass screen. In order to protect my investment, I spared no expense and purchased a very expensive Otter Box case. The case came with a belt-clip holster which I still used back then. The very next day, as I sat at my desk, the holster released my phone. The phone screen shattered as a result of a fall of less than "two feet". I contacted Otter Box. They "refused" to take any responsibility for their product's "failure" to protect my phone. After an expensive repair bill, I purchased a Supcase Unicorn Beetle case at about a third of the price of the Otter Box. The Supcase UB protected my phone through numerous falls without fail, including one from 17' to a concrete floor. Before purchasing this Galaxy 22 Ultra I now have, I made sure that the Supcase UB was available for it. I will "never" by another Otter Box case again. As a matter of fact, you could not give me one.
I have the fusion x case rn, i bought the camo one but it starts rubbing off after a while until it looks like the clear back one, but it's still a really good case, saved my phone many many times from like multiple 7 foot drops, and with no scratches, would recommend 100%
Great cases. I keep going back to my grippy Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro in Green. It will Not Wirelessly Charge but offers great protection & does Not interfere with my Curved Screen Protectors. My Spigen Neo Hybrid Case is too slippery in hand & offers minimal protection. Same with my Cyber Edition Latercase, it's just for fashion & offers Zero Protection! My Caka Case (has the rear camera lense slider cover) is great but pulls up the bottom corners of screen protectors & will not Wirelessly Charge also. I don't like putting my phones in my pockets, especially for this very fragile S22 Ultra. The Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro comes with the clip in holster which works perfectly.
I personally like UAG monarch crimson as best followed by VRS terraguard in green color, UAG monarch kevlar black case and UAG pathfinder black and also green color ones ....

I've just bought an s22, not the ultra. I never bothered with a case on previous phone. So new to cases & screen protection. Any advice including pitfalls like dodgy cases etc would be most appreciated 🙂
I've had the youmaker kickstand case not mentioned. I liked it because it was like a slim version of the ub pro, but it broke and wasn't super comfortable to hold. Now I have the poetic spartan. The kickstand closes randomly and the frame is breaking already. Now I'm just going back to the ub pro.
@@alexconnor4393 Poetic wasn't bad, but mine had a defect that interfered with the kickstand a little. Plus the kickstand was uncomfortable as a ring holder, and the plastic frame around the screen is noticeably weaker than the ub pro. The ub pro has been great btw, except that it doesn't play well with glass screen protectors and the included one was pretty bad. The armor suit case friendly one works fine tho.

@@alexconnor4393 Yes, I like the UB pro. I had one on my 21 ultra woth a whitestone dome, so I am missing the glass protector, but besides that it's a great case. It has 2 listings on amz, one just has their built in screen protector. So far the ubp has kept my 22u safe, it even keeps water out of the port if you dunk the phone on accident. I haven't heard of that other option until now tho.

I just bought the Crimson Leather case, Carbon Fiber, and Kevlar versions for my S22 Ultra, and I can honestly say they're easily the best phone cases I've ever owned. It's gonna take some really amazing phone case to even come close to how much I love the looks of these 3. (Especially the Crimson Leather version which I'm using currently. The dark red with the leather just looks so sexy and premium.)
I bought a case on ebay but they scammed me with a case that didn't work on my phone and the sellers promised to solve my problem by sending me another one and they never did and they closed my return case because I just wanted to get my money back, in the end it was a joke , a lie that they sent me another, for me it was a scam. I only leave that message so you never buy on ebay
I had the carbin fiber one for my s10+, and got the bamboo one for the wife's phone at the time. I also got the magnetic suction cup mounts. They were my favorite cases ever, but they've changed the magnets so I would have to buy new mounts and they don't look like they would do the same job. If the samsung mous case had was just magsafe like the iPhone one is then I would have bought it. It was the most comfortable, screen protector friendly case I have ever had on any device. I put it through tons of drops on all kinds of surfaces, including nonskid on ships, and the case barely got scuffed up.
u forgot also the ghostek nautical series and the aomi slim series which i have until today with my note 10+ aura glow, its dropp prtoecion 12 feet and clear back let my aura glow color shine scratchless! also protected with dome glass. its brand new! i am looking for note s22 ultra... aswell. saludos from Chile.
Dude, OK video. Wish you would have spent a little bit more time on each case and also included many other cases as others have already mentioned. But..... Your audio quality really sux. Way too much bass and not enough treble. Had difficulty understanding over half of what you said.
I mean making a video of the cases and only using videos from the case companies and literally just talking about the specs from the site of the companies is not a review

I've gone through 3 different brands of screen protectors. They all make using the fingerprint sensor near unusable.

My original UAG case was premium quality, the newer cases are now poorly made.
