Only thing I would add, it having a quick 5-10 second segment on each case where you set it on a wireless charger to see the connection or no-connection.

This is a thing of the past as 99% of cases will allow wireless charge now. Unless your case is made of steel, assume it works.

I've got a few different cases so I can change around when I want , I have the one with the slide camera cover and it's a pretty good case, doesn't feel bulky but feels pretty sturdy, also it fits nice and tight and the camera cover is good for extra protection.
I have the Speck Presidio2 Grip for the S22 plus and the simple Samsung silicone case which is a great combination to have. If you want the best clear case, go for the Caseology Skyfall series since it has grips on the side. Great trio of cases there.

I bought the Temdan Shockproof for my S22 Ultra. I will have to return it. I've tried 5 times to register my thumb but it wont work with the case on. Works just fine without the case. Appreciate the review!!
Thx for the video, the case rabbit hole is deep 😄 however I think I like 2 or 3 out of this line-up with the balance between protection and not being over bulky on this already large and heavy phone but in the end I think the Grip2 might be the most versatile one.

I have the Samsung leather, clear with stand and t h e silicone blue with the strap but just bought the spec case and it feels light and robust plus grippy , the inside side pull test shows its very tight and taking off and on is also so I'm assuming the drop protection will be good
Temdan, redpepper and ghostek are by far my favorite! I went redpepper this time around for my case for the s22u.
Would have been nice to hear of other features too... like magnetic and also to have a link to the product on Amazon etc.
I have a ton of cases & my fav is the Caseborn R Series black Carbon Fiber/Red Trim (expensive, $43 ) & it has saved my phone many times & works with all my wireless chargers. Still looks brand new, just wipe it down.
This is my 2nd case, my 1st Caseborn R Series had issues with the red number coming up in 1 corner & Caseborn sent out another with no questions asked. Great grip also.
My 2nd great thin case is my Spigen Neo Hybrid. Fits perfectly even with the individual lense protectors installed.
My Unicorn Beetle Pro is great but it won't wireless charge & my other larger cases with a thick back won't wireless charge, unless your charger is strong..
Nice presentation, but with wireless charging I would like to have seen you test all the cases to see if they are compatible with a wireless pad.
I have the UAG Monarch with the Kevlar for the S22 Ultra. It was a more expensive case than I normally buy but It is fantastic!
I am thinking about ordering that UAG monarch Kevlar how is the lip protection on the front side of it and have you dropped it my s21 ultra has an armadillo tech and honestly I have never dropped it and I like the fact that it has a kickstand great for when you're on a plane,
I have the monarch carbon fibre on s22 ultra,would recommend,dropped phone a few times not from great height just off me knee when watching videos at pub.
Phone dropped on hard concrete floor and not a scratch on either phone or case.
@@tonifonseca9178 Although the Monarch has good sides and back protection, the lip extensions on the front are NOT as protective as Otterbox. Its not just about the lips, but the transfer of shock from the impact, and Poetic is crap. Good luck.
Great video! I have the 3rd case you mentioned which is ESR clear case with kickstand. Believe me, I have bought my share of cases through the years and this ESR case is my all time favorite. There is something about the design, that I rarely hold my case and accidentally touch the camara lenses. I hate grabbing my phone and accidentally smearing up the camara lenses. This case, I rarely have to worry about accidently touching my lenses. I also love having the kickstand for when I want to watch your videos! Ha The kickstand is built into it nicely, and I can use a wireless charger without any issues. I was surprised to see the case I picked out on this list, because I actually bought it without doing much homework. I usually do tons of homework before making a ultimate decision when I make purchases. Glad to know I made a good choice. Thanks for reviewing so many nice cases! I am going to subscribe!

I really like the waterproof Temdan case, but my only concern is that I over time the case is going to look like crap as the scratches will really show up in the clear covers.
will the Torras case protect the back glass from impact? I need a thin case for my car's wireless charger to work but I'm afraid of the back shattering.
How come no one ever mentions OtterBox? I always view them as the Volvo of cell phone cases. The protection is USUALLY top notch for most phones. Second only maybe to LifeProof cases.
I have the OtterBox Defender for the S22 Ultra and I have no issues with it. Great protection and feel. Doesn't add anymore bulk than most of these cases mentioned. Does NOT have built in screen protector, which kind of sucks. But does come with a holster. And I know a lot of people are like, "holster? Eeew." But I swear, it is useful at times. I go camping a lot, and since the S22 is so big it's not convenient to have it in my pocket all the time and being able to clip it on your belt and have it with you but out of the way is just nice sometimes. No one is saying you gotta walk around the mall with it if you don't think that's "cool" lol. Oh, the Defender also allows wireless charging.
I got the same one for my phone and it's working well for me so far. I drop my phone a lot and have an no problem.

A lot of these aren't necessarily ones people have heard of before. I think most people have heard of OtterBox, and there's really no question as to whether they're good or not. They can be chunky though.

Is the presidio grip 2 rubber ? I saw reviews saying its hard plastic and digs into your hands when holding it
I like the temden. I had a note 9 with a Otterbox case and the front screen cracked because I inadvertently put my phone in my pocket with my keys. Always get a phone case with built in screen protector. I thought I was protected but couldn't do anything with the front screen.
Thanks for this great review! I think I will go with the i-Blason Ares since its the only one with that level of protection but will also show off the back of my white s22 Ultra since its clear. I also like that the front is well protected. The SupCase U8 is a close 2nd but am just a lil weary of the sides being a bit too slippery... Now, to decide between the Grey or the Black to go with the White s22 Ultra. Oh and the one other case that I've also been looking at but you haven't covered on here is the Ghostek Atomic.

I like the first one myself my friend has one and thinking about getting myself one. I just ordered my s22 ultra and can't wait. I've had the OnePlus 8 for about a yr and half. I usually wait 2 years before I switch phones but the s22 ultra is just a beautiful beast that I cannot pass on 😂 lol. I actually hate cases really and never really used them much but having the last phone I had get dropped and cracked I knew then im getting cases now on lol and extra insurance. 1200 for a phone is alot to just risk it so case it is. I love the feel of the s22 ultra without a case but again can't risk it so im going to look around to see what super thin cases are out there. So the thinner the better for me.

I purchased the Speck case as well as a screen protector for my phone... neither protected my phone from an accidental drop. Was very disappointed, didn't have my phone over a month.

I bought the Temdan case and it blocked the microphones for TH-cam Live and other apps that use that particular mic. It's a good case otherwise.... Great Video

Where did you get the iblason ares in that color?? Your link, and even a search of the iblason website do not show that color. I've had that case on other phones, but didn't buy one for my ultra because I could not find the color case you have...

The Temdan Shockproof I found seems to have a hole in the front, but the one in the video doesn't. I'm kind of confused, does anybody have this case for the S22 ultra?

I have three cases in order of my favorite:
1. Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro
2. Otterbox Defender Pro
3. Otterbox Symmetry
I feel like this phone has geometry that makes it really hard to protect from corner damage, get a tank case and nothing less. I had the UAG Civilian and dropped from waist height and it damaged the corner through the case.
Need to be showing bottoms as well that can make or break a case choice for me. Because want cover for charge port

Man, anybody know which case has the best raised protection around the entire screen? Most the ones I'm finding only have protection on the top and bottom and if you place the S-pin across the phone right to left the pen touches the screen. So if you drop it on a corner , a curb or any uneven surface. The screen is gonna break

In refrence to the Speck Presidio Grip 2 I have had them on the last 2 phones and loved them, I got a Incipio grip at the store when I got my 22 ultra and like it about the same. Although I was going to order the Speck all the reviews are saying they changed and not as good as before, since you did not mention that would like to know if you find the newer one to be not as good.

I have this case for my Note 8. Decent case but the kickstand broke after 3 months and the shell is a bit too hard for my liking.

Had a Spigen Tough Armor case on my Galaxy S9 for 4 years and it has been great, so I think I know what I'm getting for my S22 Ultra. I'm surprised that Otterbox and UAG weren't mentioned.
Hi there! I tried UAG for this phone and am disappointed. UAG was great for my other phones but NOT fir the Samsung 22 Ulta because this UAG model does NOT have high enough side walls to protect the screen. They only made the bumpers higher on the front top and bottom- which only protects the screen if the phone is face down on a flat table but if your phone was face down on the corner of a table with the top and bottom over the edge of the table then your screen would touch the table. Another was to think about it is if you lay a popsicle stick across the face of the screen horizontally across, the stick touches the screen because the side bumpers are flush with the screen

What matters to me is a casing that has high edges.
Today i had to replace my screen which costs about 20% of the whole purchase price. I got the phone 5 months ago, dropped by accident less than 20cm and the edge cracked.
Bcs it's screen is a curved edge, and curve edge known to be sensitive, wish they had casing with high edges on the sides off the left and right screen.
I asked the samsung technician today, he said there's at lease 1 customer a week which report/repair their s22 ultra cracked screen
Do you have Samsung Care? I'm considering it for this very reason. The phone is huge and is probably more prone to having the glass break because of it
@@cc_snipergirl i didnt took samsung care and i regretted not taking it. I encourage you to purchase the care if you think you need time adjusting to the phone. I was using iphone7 previously and never needed an apple care huhu

Is the flat black Speck a fingerprint/smudge magnet?
Not at all.
So my s22 ultra came with a raised block area on the back around the cameras so the back of my phone isn't all flat. I ordered a uag case for the s22 ultra but it doesn't fit bc the case wasn't made for the raises area on the back of my phone. Not sure what cases I will be able to use...m
You're describing an S21U. Are you sure you have an S22U?
I don't know if anyone makes this but I'm looking for a case that has a backup battery built in and will also allow to wireless ly charge the backup battery

nilkin i just used and its cheap plastic got my phone cracked (lower corner bad support) from 4 foot drop.
You missed a couple cases you should check out there's a case from caseology it's called The Parallax and there's a case from UAG it's called the Monarch Kevlar series I need need to take a look at the original Samsung cases that are out I didn't look at any OtterBox cases

Is it true that most cases do not have a screenprotector with it? Or is it possible to put also an screenprotector on it?
You can usually put a separate screen protector on, but in my experience, it's difficult to find a screen protector that works well and doesn't interfere with the fingerprint scanner. But imo it's probably worse with case screen protectors because there's no adhesive closing that gap.

The Speck case was the first case I bought. After using it sometime I found out I didn't like it because when I would rub my fingers across the side of the case it felt like I was going to get a blister on my fingers.
All I want is a case with the highest/ thickest side bezels for the front! No one addresses this🤨 screen protection should be high priority but all anyone ever talks about is back and sides. Which has high side bezels?
Please encroach on my side screens!!! I'm with you. I've owned my phone for two months and I've already gone through three cases, one screen protector (glass), and one screen. For all intents and purposes I've broken two screens already.
I am a 59 yr old grandmother in no way irresponsible, since the inception of cell phones I have never, never even cracked a screen. I'm so disappointed in the rolled screen on this phone. Oh and one black eye from doing it on my face in bed. 🐼
Am I the only one looking for a case where the edges aren't protruding? So hard to find a case with the edges raised too. If the phone falls just right on it's side sort of face down onto a non-even surface would assume it could easily break at the edge? Anyone know of a good, inexpensive case that provides edge protection?

Ive been a spigen tough armour since galaxy s6
I had the Spigen Tough armor for my S10+ the kickstand for it did eventually break to the point it wasn't usable. But the protection from that case was AMAZING. I dropped my phone out of my work truck (international HV, tall truck) multiple times and the phone was absolutely unfazed.

Any case there you can still see the lights around the edge of whole phone
On the spidgen case the pen area is bot protected well dropped it once and damaged the pen area

Is there any screen protector for Presedio?
It doesn’t come with one but you can use just about any screen protector with the case on.
Could you possibly recommend one for someone working on work sites?
I want to avoid the screen being scratched in my bag and pocket as well as smash proof.
My other concern is grip as I usually need to use it one handed but find as it's so much bigger it's hard to hold one handed so a grip is ideal
Alternatively can attached one of those pop out holders but I know they don't stick to everything

The UAG Monarch series with Kevlar is hands down the best case for this phone.

I have the otterbox commuter case and I'm really surprised it wasn't on this list. It's such a protective yet not too bulky of a case
I use the Otterbox defender pro cases for all my phones. Perfect combination of grippiness, protection and camera lens protection.
@@rushfanjames2112 careful with that.. scratch the edges of your phone over time.. I put one on my 21 ultra and after 4 months my edges were absolutely ruined.. I looked if anyone else had the same problem and sure enough nearly everyone had the same problem..

You are absolutely INSANE if you put your ultra in anything other than an Otterbox defender pro. Period. Being Able to put the phone screen-in in the belt clip is PRICELESS. I just hate that they stopped including a built in screen protector. But I will give the vase with the sliding camera cover its props. That's a really cool idea

I use the defender pro and I got a screen protector film that came with a camera protector too. Idk it I should switch to the tempered glass protector from the film but I'll leave it alone for now
