You're a lifesaver! Why is a pair of socks the hardest thing I have made? I spent 6 hours on figuring this out man, there's nothing on the internet too
It's only my pleasure, that is exactly why I made this video as there is practically zero information about it in the 3D World. Quick tip - If you're having trouble figuring out how to make a certain garment try the following. Just watch videos of fashion designers sewing real clothes and you'll get a general idea of how to translate that digitally. The way these socks are sewn digitally are exactly the same way you would make them in real life.
@@TravisDavids That's great advice! Also I have a suggestion for a video, can you like explain how to make renders like your thumbnails? or perhaps you have a course on artstation?
Right click, Add background image, Select image. I find it to be easier to work with since it can't be edited once it's placed without right clicking and clicking add background image again.
How would you do something really skin tight? (Like a one piece swimsuit for example) My issue is it just keeps clipping through the body and jittering/jumping around as if it's too tight/small, but if I make it too big then it's not a one piece swimsuit anymore as it's all loose and saggy.
Hey this is probably a silly question but how do u drag and move the screen around? I can only scroll to zoom and right click to rotate and its very frustrating 😢
Absolutely amazing tutorial, thanks! I was wondering if you'd cover wrapping a turban in MD? I haven't seen any tutorials for more complex pieces of clothing like that
