Can we identify Lego Series 25 CMF minifigures using a $20 scale?

- Hello everyone! I am the Brick Scavenger and I'm a huge collector of Lego. The Series 25 Collectible Minifigure series releases on January 1st. I got my hands on some a couple days early and today we are trying to figure out if it's possible to identify what's in the box using a $20 scale purchased at Target. The cardboard boxes make it impossible to use the feel method for IDing contents, so perhaps weight will get the job done without breaking the bank on an expensive scale? Let's find out!

The fact that you're doing this outside already tempers with your scale readings. The wind will impact for sure. And of course the quality of the scale: this kind of scale will never be precise enough for what you're trying to do. I work with precision scales, you need to calibrate them, use a flat and rigid surface, protect them from the wind, and have a piece of descent equipment in hand, otherwise, you'll obtain unreliable values.
Good video. I wonder if you would have more consistent readings with a different scale, like a 500g max one. But I've got my scale and I look forward to finding all the Fright Knights I can in the next few months!
Follow up video coming tomorrow where I try to get only figs I want. We will see how well I can ID them and knights are certainly a target!
