YouTube Monetization Check Money for June 2024
We are officially making money from TH-cam Monetization!
My small TH-cam Lego channel is growing slowly but we've reached monetization status and couldn't be more excited! This video celebrates another ad revenue check coming in and reveals just how much money I made with about 2500 subs and about 1000 views per day. As always, this money isn't for paying rent or the electric bill. We're off to the Lego store to have some fun and add to our Lego City MOC display. If you're curious about just how much money my channel generates, what we do with the money, and what our current Lego projects are, this video is for you!
We've got a ton of fun things happening on our channel including mail hauls, Bricklink and WhatNot tips and tricks, MOC displays of Star Wars, and even marble racing with the Legona 500. Feel free to check out the video listings for more fun!
We fund this habit by selling the Lego we have and no longer need or want. Thanks so much for anyone who has supported us whether it's through Bricklink, Ebay, WhatNot, or simply watching our TH-cam videos!
Hello everyone! I am the Brick Scavenger and I'm a huge collector of Lego. I've been building a huge Lego city in my basement for years. I got a bit distracted with other Lego projects and most of my city was taken apart. During that same time period, chaos reigned over the basement and I lost complete control over the Lego organization. It's time to recover! Feel free to follow along with this vlog as we rebuild our Lego city and get this parts organization under control!

@@brickscavenger thats the same for me. I but collections locally and sell on whatnot and my parents have pointed out I only break even or make 15 bucks here and there. But thats because I acrew an excess of legos for free 😂. I think ill order a poggle head and a Lieutenant helmet. Take your time and enjoy the summer but lmk when you list the helmet! Thanks so much keep up the great content
Congrats. That’s more than I expected. Awesome!
I would love to sponsor a Legona team to help support u even more!!!
Let him sponsor ha ha

Love the videos Aaron, can't think how I came across the channel but been watching for must be a good 6 months at least. Thanks for sharing your hobby / work and here's to continued fun etc. Cheers and greetings from the UK.
@@adrianlynch9435 I really appreciate the continued support Adrian!
Very cool developments! The thick foliage is great, though maybe it's a tad too thick and needs some gaps to clear a view to some activity. I think the gap to the higher huts should be a ravine, with a rope bridge, and a narrow path leading down to the river.
@@GuanoLad I was starting to think the same thing about thickness! At least it need to be wider
Is the Ewok village finished?
Definitely not... haha. I have way more projets than time!
Your energy and lego passion is impressive. You're just a good dude
I appreciate that! Alway happy to interact with other Lego fans!
Do you have a Poggle the lesser head i could purchase
@@jonahschwarz8428 I definitely do! I have to do some digging. My Lego life has slowed a bit during the summer as the kids are home. But I can get them posted to Bricklink soon!
You should put a king kahuka’s throne type moc on the open brown plate. Seems like a good place for it.
I feel that, unless you intend to take pieces of your Lego city to a convention or some other activity, where you need to connect to other people’s Lego, I really think it’s a huge waste of money. I am retired and built a Lego City as a retirement project. I don’t hunt, fish, hike, bike, snowmobile, 4 wheel, etc. , but I did love putting Lego together with my youngest son. So it’s a bit of nostalgia, but also a whole lot of fun. I’ve been building for 7 years now and I have all of the Modular’s, plus even more MOC’s. I have 3 trains, a harbour with many boats, a residential area and a large Medieval Castle MOC and a village, plus several shelving units with many other Lego creations. I noticed you mentioned that a lot of your Modulars are not on Mils plates, I’m sure that would be a huge pain to accomplish, I certainly wouldn’t want to do it.😛 The other thing that surprised me was using the 48x48’s for Mils?…. Not sure how they work in a city setting, where Modular’s, roads and sidewalks all exist?
For the pig roast, you should have it be an Ewok roast since they are fighting the Ewoks. And it’s ironic because Ewoks put Han & Co. on the fire roast sticks in the films.
That would be a great reference!
Buddy it is obvious you have been inspired with Hawaii ! It looks very neat !
@@Irelando84 thanks so much! I’m excited to populate it.
this is an awesome moc love the progress!
@@rio1408 I appreciate that!
Super Helpful on the sorting. I do the theme the part and color thing too. Only I am always focused on completing the figs since I don’t do BL and only do whatnot. Keep sharing organizing tips please.
The name of the guy with the spider legs is "Daddy No Legs" i just remember his name because it's funny 😅
Haha... what a great name!
Thats a really smart system for uploading!
@4:51 That's not Hera's headpiece, but Oola's. Nice find!
def overpaid on this one
How come? Just the expensive parts shown at the end of the video paid for more than half of the whole lot! If everything sells, he'll be able to almost double his money for sure. The helmets alone will pay for the entire thing.
Not an overpay whatsoever
How is PayPal involved?
WhatNot actually collects money from the buyers. When a buyer makes a purchase, WhatNot does not collect the full amount. Instead, there are two fees assessed. The first fee is a % of the purchase that is paid to whatever system is used (credit card, paypal, etc). The second fee is a flat fee usually roughly $0.30. When WhatNot eventually pays the seller, they pass the flat fee on to you as well.
@@brickscavenger Oh, thanks for the explanation!
Love the video. You must have $$$$$$$'s worth of stock my gawd. Love the BTS part of the video. Greetings from the UK.
Thank you, Adrian! The stock is a little out of control for sure... haha!

Great haul! Couldn’t help but start to laugh each time after about the 3rd “I don’t ninjago” exclimation!
That gold dragon armor and gold dragon hilt sword would look awesome on a gold dragon knight for a castle moc
Another great haul! May not be the most valuable but my personal favorite was the 4 armed Solo fig Rio Durant that you found!
@@jjlego2003 agreed! He’s so fun!
9:19 that blue torso was cracked n the back of the arm
Starting the video with a $25 helmet and a $65 minifig. Not bad at all.
At 3:29 thats Jay nrg on of the most expensive ninjago figs there are

@LEGbrOs Check your ninja turtle figs because I had a lot of fake ones. also, the splinter I had looks exactly like yours and mine is fake so I would check the splinter.
I have been finding a lot of Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle heads scratched in the same areas yours were. Not sure what is up with this.

Hey Aaron! The Donatello minifigure with the hole in the head and toros are Official LEGO parts, but come from a Keychain where the metal stake has been removed. Unfortunately with keychain minifigures the hips are glued to the torso so the only reusable parts are the individual legs, arms, hands, and extras if you can remove the head like the turtle shell.

😅. Okay so definitely a few things I could improve on. Especially speed. I so agree about the what do you want me to run and the should I run it questions. As far as shaming people or getting mad about low prices… that is a NEVER do. You’ve definitely shared some good nuggets. I appreciate it.
This! Yes. It is why I will not ever do a $1 start. I calculated it out including the box I use, packing materials, label etc and it landed at about 20 cents profit (not including the cost of the sale item). I actually took screenshots of this because I think people don’t totally understand. Thank you so much! PS I think you should be a guest on Rebel’s Monday night talk show. It would be fascinating. Last week he had Robert Maynard’s wife bricksorter on showing their process and it was so helpful. I’ll dm you a link.
