@Gio Corvino Sikhs have warm relations with all including Hindus and Muslims. Almost 50% Punjab population is Hindus and they virtually control all the industry and commerce here. Sikhs haven't asked them to go to the hindu rashtar states in India. Some Sikhs live in the hindu rashtar states of India but Sikhs don't get jobs in the hindu run businesses and the hindu govts in India. Please Google and read 'spirit born people' by prof Puran Singh who was Japan educated scientist to understand the core beliefs of Sikhism based on equality, justice and freedom for all.

@@gurindersingh8109 You know right the term "Hindu" automatically means (Hindu+Sikhs+Jains+Buddhists). So even if RSS and Right wing is demanding Hindu Rashtra it includes not only Hindu but Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. Hindu own all bussiness in Punjab? Then why Sikhs are the most economic rich section of India and Hindu's 2nd Most poor. 1984 riots were purely political in nature, i am sure you know it well. Sikhs demanded Khalistan, PM Indira Gandh sent troops to Golden Temple to eliminate Khalistani, her Sikh bodyguards assasinated her. As a result riots. No Hindu supported it. Only ruling party Congress goons. Stop spreading lies and creating a rift between Hindus and Sikhs. All of RSS hails Sikhs along with all Indians. You and people like you should be ashamed for perpetuating lies.

@@gurindersingh8109 What rubbish you are talking. 1984 riots were result of killing of then PM Indira Gandhi who was shot by two Khalistan supporter Sikhs. During that time, supporter of Congress party massacred thousands of innocent Sikhs. Just yesterday, Manmohan Singh, the former PM, who interestingly belongs to the same, blamed Congress Party for not doing enough to stop killings.

I am surprised that no one picked up on the fact that this looks like a more "sanitized" version of the "dhaba" - the ubiquitous eatery alongside Indian highways. most of the clientele are truck drivers and many of them look like Mintu.
In that sense, the sheriff is absolutely correct - Mintu recreated an Indian roadside eatery in Wyoming :-)

What a baseless comment. I have been to plenty of highway dhabbas. Lot of assumptions coming from someone who haven't seen even 1% of India, or are you basing all of this on generic western news channels who portrays India bad. Well anyone could, next time I will fly my Drone only on areas of skidrow LA, inner cities of Chicago and portray the whole USA as some sort of gang rapist and addict ghettos.
Fun fact : USA has more rapists than India, but has only 1/4th the population of India.

As Indian American that grew up in America back in the 80s and 90s, it blows my mind how much more mainstreamed us Indians are compared to when I was a kid. I remember in 1985 and 1995, most white kids, latino kids and black kids thought Indian food was "yucky looking" and gross, and never wanted to try it. Some didn't like the smell, which varies wildy depending on what you are making. It was only around 1999/2000 that I saw a change, and even then, that was the start of a change for Indians in America. Here we are in 2022, and I have white coworkers showing off their Indian food curry lunch they made the previous night. Mind blown! The younger Indians in America today have no idea how "odd" and "foreign" we were all considered in America back in the 80s, 90s, even early 2000s.

Less than $20. Excellent! Just as good, if not better than some Indian food places in SoCal. Mintu, suggestion...please consider adding "Frankies" (Indian style burrito, TH-cam it, for those who don't know what that is) to the menu. I'd bet you'd sell alot them & excellent for "on the go"... Popular in SoCal! Just a thought.
