As an owner I get so fed up of seeing reviews that drive the car like you stole it. You drive in sport plus at 40 mph in traffic, and treat every set of lights as a drag race then you’ll be lucky to see 20mpg ( and that’s UK figures not US). If you drive it properly and use the drive modes to suit the road conditions not your ego then you have a very fast, comfortable saloon with great handling that will give you 30 mpg plus overall but put a great smile on your face when conditions allow.
Okay, that’s an amazing individual paint! I miss my 2020 M340ix Dravit gray. That was my favorite color! I now have a 2022 X3M. The idrive is cool but I prefer the prior iteration and having an actual gear shifter. It was much easier to put the car on launch control.
😂I like your video, I had a chance to test drive this at the BMW Ultimate Driving event. This car is a little rocket 🚀 I am planning on buying one in the near future 😎
You have to break boost. That means hold the break down while simultaneously depressing the accelerator until the rpms reach the ideal rep range. Then you release the breaks.
Nice video, Just want to let you know that I ended up buying this exact car at Parkview BMW. Taking delivery early next month. Your video definitely helped me to make my purchase decision since I didn’t have time to actually go in and test drive this car.
I havent seen any canadian options on the BMW website to get this color when building this car. Is this something you have to go and ask the dealer for?
@@POV_Driving there is the base model cruise control which is just at a set speed. There is stuff like the 2 series that get active cruise control which is radar. There is also active driving assistant pro. And extended traffic jam assistant. There is also active cruise control stop and go. And I just ordered my 230i an adaptive cruise but there is so many in the line up and surely some just have uniform names. Just seems too confusing.
@@Blazergl you have just the normal cruise control and you got the ACC with radar, which just brakes and accelerates, if the car in front of you slows or gets faster. Thats the only options there are for the 2 series. There is no driving assistant pro
@@POV_Driving Got you. I have the M235i and sometimes, it can be a bit tricky to activate LC. Great review anyway, watching all M340i clips I can find while waiting for my own which I have on order since a month back 🙂
strange...I just received my 2023 m340i a couple months ago and my carbon fiber interior trim isn't glossy like yours....also didn't have a power tailgate option.
@@POV_Driving I see, my carbon fiber was also a factory option. I have the matte carbon with the m performance badge on it. A bit salty I couldn’t get the power tailgate though :(
BMW should've learned from other makers, when it comes to "ONLY infotainment climate controls." They never last long. Because if there's any issues with that system? There's no controlling that heat/air/defroster.
@@RyanAnstey-v1d They are pretty much identical. They got the same parts, engine, drivetrain and stuff. its more like a looks thing. You could even go with a 240i, if you prefer the 440. Same car, but smaller and less in price. You could even get the new m2 for the price of a new 340/440.

You dont buy BMW's to drive them like hondas
@@MarchedYeti96 I pray that the 96 in your name doesn't indicate your year of birth because if it does you're way too old to write comments this dumb
You don’t buy a bmw to drive it like a grandma, this isn’t a prius no one cares about mpg. 😂
This was such a good review man. Thank you for the video!
Glad you liked it! thanks for watching!

My dream car is an x4m. Did you cross shop your M with the x3 m40i?
That color 😍
individual!

I have the 22 X3 M40 and it sounds similar to this. Many people told me it's noisy on the outside. Love the colour on this M340.
Well this one is a bit louder then a stock one because of the M performance exhaust.

That's awesome! so cool. Congrats on the purchase!
She’s a beaut! 😍
BMW USA needs to get its act together. Ridiculous that we don't get these nice colors in the US.
I havent seen any canadian options on the BMW website to get this color when building this car. Is this something you have to go and ask the dealer for?
May i ask when the car was Build Bc This year you can‘t get Individual colors anymore for the 3 Series sedan only for the touring 😢
Where are you located? I ask because I can’t tell if you are using MPH or KMH
Canada, KMH
I'll take one in Enzian Blue, which is also a really cool individual color. I also wonder if it's possible to put M3 rims on an M340i?
Enzian blue would be pretty sweet. The M3 wheels would technically bolt on. IDK about clearance.
You can only get away with running 4 fronts all around at the rears are far too aggressive
you needa go into the dealership for the bmw individual colors?
there is a website for it but you need to go into a dealership to buy any car anyway.
Nice car! Is the gloss carbon to glary when driving?
not at all
I think I would have spent the $200 for the blue brake calipers
Can you make a video explaining the different types of BMW cruise control?
what do you mean?

$3900

yea i didn't put the brake far enough down

This, X3m40i or Macan S?
PS the stiff ride of the BMW scares me away due to passengers comfort…
340i. The X3 and/or the macan are way slower. Its not that stiff tho

In your opinion m340 or m440

they are almost the same. the only decision is do you want a coupe or sedan?
I’ve looked at thousands of these and I have never seen that color… wtf
individual colour. You need to place a factory order for it.
