    Glad this one is going together good for you. You need something after the paint troubles you've had on your other builds. Looking forward to seeing how this comes out.

    Great job on the '65 Satellite. If my memory serves me, I think the "PLYMOUTH" on the hood was decals and my guess is the "O" didn't stick and no mind was given to it because the car only ran a short time.

    The work you do is far superior to many other modelers! Outstanding
    As far as BMF is concerned, Luka Cee showed a product made by the manufacturers of Mr Colour paints, which is much better than BMF and apparently is beautiful to work with. You may want to look it up. I wish I could remember the name of it.

      Thanks for the info! Next time I talk with him I may ask him about it. Or I could look it up on his channel. He has been bugging me to do an Unpodcast with him. I want to do it and should be fun but just haven't!

    Building both versions is awesome. A nice collection added to your completed builds.
    One thing about the photos on the box. Most of that is not correct for the cars as far as color choices. I think the builder painted the parts for effect and not correctness.

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably true. I’m having fun just building it! Not really stressing on the details. Just building a nice model!

    Great to watch this. I have the kit and you are inspiring me to get moving on it. Btw, I understand an AWB of the 1965 Dodge Coronet is on the way from Moebius. Gonna need to clear some space or that one as well !!

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I know and plan to get the 65 Coronet as well. But I think I may do one of the 65 Comets first!

    Man this guy makes great models, I made a 1971 duster last week and I made it how I would have it if I actually had a duster and I thought it was my best model (and still do)…. Until I saw this guys model

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Be proud of your builds. I show many of my survivors builds to show what my old builds were like. Many of the survivors are my best work at that time. Many of the not so good ones were rebuilt or trashed for parts. After building hundreds of models you are bound to improve weather you try or not. Just have fun building them!

    Did the car not have the glove box door, or was that side of the dash welded up, any idea? A fine job on this one. It’s coming along quickly.

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't really know. I saw a car that the dash was welled closed, and a few gauges added. Don't know if it came closed off or it that was done later.

  • @paintnamer6403

    Let's call it High Velocity White!

  • @jacobeakright7834
    @jacobeakright7834 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think the name of it was Alpine White I could be wrong the Alpine white could have been towards the later 60s but I could be wrong about the earlier part of the '60s with it when that car would have been built

    • @TheMuscleCarModeler
      @TheMuscleCarModeler  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you are correct. The 65 paint codes list WW-1 as Plymouth White. The name Alpine White I know was on the 70 Superbird. The name first showed up in 1969 and is code W-1! So is W-1 in 70 the same formula as WW-1 in 65? I think so because in 1968 literature the paint codes had 3 letters and basic names (Med blue poly) then in 69 dropped to the 2 letters and more creative names were added.
