@@SprayWayCustoms I know the cost is a little more but you would probably have less of a battle with hardwire and shielding gas. Flux core burns hotter than mig and the slag makes things a little harder when doing repeated tacks. Personally I would use .023 mig wire with either 75/25 gas or 100%CO2. Keep putting out dope content, teaching others your skill, a d continue to grow!!

27:58 some helpful advice on doing spot welds instead of going for circles I go down and up. I’ll start on the base metal and go into my patch panel. My beads are usually like a 1/4 long. I find it’s a lot stronger. You’re doing it right by jumping around so you don’t distort you patch panel. With flux core you gotta watch the heat since most wire is .030 or .035. It’s so easy to blow through your work. Another reason I run tacks up and down. I don’t try to completely weld in the entire panel(make it look like a full bead) since I seam seal it all up anyway. Give my idea a shot see how it works for ya!!
    Great content as always!!

Sprayway, I have to say, your work ethics are very good. You do it right from what we see. No corners cut, no “ITS GOOD ENOUGH”. You sir are a master craftsman. This is why I’m here and I’m sure it’s why every other subscriber is too. Doing it is worth doing it the right way. That’s a rare thing to see. There are some other channels that do it too but you do it and you explain why and how and what you’re shooting for , for the next step and beyond that. I had automotive class back in high school and they had nobody that knew any of the bodywork tricks and techniques that you give us all. I have high respect for
Both your ability to do the work and explained it but you show the wight way that you explained to us. Much respect to you and your work ethics.

Beautiful job on the floor pan. That panel replacement for the rust repair came out really nice. The flux core welder does the job, anyone who laughs at that has a problem.
