Lee it sucks that one seat back was is missing, I got ahold of Camaro Central to see if they would donate a seat back cover the guy said that they would check out your video. I hope they sponsor a cover for you. But you should have heard from them by now. I called Echler’s today to see if they would be interested in helping you out. I told them it might be worth there time since you have thousands of subscribers and you are a no BS guy. The guy I talked to seemed more interested in checking it out than the other guy. I watch when I have time. Sold my Monte Carlo and now got a 1986 Firebird. Installing rear brakes on it. Based on the condition of your Camaro, it was a money pit from the start. I found a nice garage kept beauty for $4,600.

Yep , paint the inside black , some black seat covers and a set of better tires. The back seat just get some black fabric material and make something yourself to cover them. I would put black carpet in the cargo area too. It would be good enough i think. You have such a cool collection of cars i would drive a different one every month ! lol
I really like the '85 IROC-Z project! It reminds me of my "86 IROC-Z that I bought brand new in June '86!

All these old clunkers deserve to be back on the road in some form or another. The Camaro will get a 2nd chance and someone out there will enjoy it again. I appreciate all the hard work you put in these clunkers, I need my weekly fix.

The design features of the IROC-Z, are all top notch. The center of gravity, the rear spoiler, “stock car” interior, T-TOPS!!!!!!!! And especially when they’re upgraded with a T-56. The wheels, ground effects… why tf are these things so undervalued??? It’s insanity to me🤷🏿 my best friend owned an 82 z28 with five spd and t tops. Funnest mf car I have ever driven! Someone said they handle like shit. What? Not the one I drove! 60 mph around the s turns, and it didn’t even lean lol. Anyway, I bought one. It’s an 87 IROC with a 5.3 LS Swap. 4l60e, which will eventually morph into a tremec T-56. T tops etc… I’m absolutely in love with it, and I’m working tirelessly to get it out together, so I can pop those T Tops out, and feel the wind on my face :)😊. I can’t wait!!!! Will never understand why these cars are so disrespected, and under appreciated/under valued :( you did a great job resurrecting this one from the dead, Lee!❤thanks for taking the time to save this piece of 80s Americana! I’ve learned a lot from this series. Thanks again!

Puddin also had a 78ish El Camino. Got it running but didnt end up building it, traded it off for something else, i dont remember what.

Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⛵ you may call it rambling but I find it important that you let us know what's on your mind and what steps you want to take. You never know what you're going to fined when you start sanding, right. Overall it was only minor damage. It should look great when you finally paint it if your past results are any indication. Cluckers and classics I think you do a great job most people don't even get around to paint number or anything you do a pretty good restoration on all your cars you got so many lined up their hard to choose from if you wanted one I used to have El Caminos 82 mine what is V6 add 87 IROC I hate to get rid of that but I needed the money so I had to sell I like your 78 or 79 Chevelle the gray one were the black stripes I like at 66 van you got I don't want to say keep it as it is put some teardrops or something in the windows like it was in the 60s you call it a Scooby-Doo van but I think there's was a Ford I like them 60s Chevy van that you have keep up the good work and I'm keep on watching too bad you couldn't get a seat cover for the other side on that 85 IROC maybe you practice on guy in the red on them two to get the right color the match at new seat covers if you can match the top try your red dye District Diner until you get the right color just keep adding color to it little at a time it'll come out

What do you think about keeping that sporty looking red carpet in the passenger compartment, painting all the plastic panels black, keeping the door panels the way they are now, and founding out some other grey/black front seats from some other car you have (or maybe paint black the existing ones)? In the trunk the carpet could also be black, together with a painted black rear seat.

Those cars never done anything for me. I wouldn’t give 50 dollars for a dozen of them if I HAD to keep and drive them. They not old enough for me to consider cool and I’m not a car person anyway unless it’s 70s or older. Any of them 80s and up is scrap iron to me. Some people love them though.

Hey Lee can you do me a favor can you take the spay gun apart show when you put filter back together isn't it a filter you put back in the front before you spay the car ?
There's a small plastic filter strainer in the bottom of the cup.
it's a water filter, it just screws in the bottom of the gun

@@MrJamesfree there is no filter in (front) of the gun. He has an orange inline filter that filters water moisture from the air compressor. They're cheap $5 / $10 bucks. 😉✌

I would just redo the interior in gray to match the door panels. Or just go black and paint the door panels to match. The red won't match the new paint anyway and it would look great with the new interior.

When you say taller Springs in the front. Can you please let me know the name brian or the number because I put a whole new suspension under my car and the front seems like it's still sitting low You're sitting up even all the way around p,s, I put to new springs 2 new struts & 2 new strut mounts front & on the back two new springs and 2 shots thanks
