I went to Newfoundland and St Pierre et Miquelon back in 1994. Thanks for sharing your video. It brought back some great memories and made me realize I'm long overdue for a return trip!
It was cool, the people were nice. I will say it did feel like French Newfoundland, however I think the locals would not like that comparison. :) I also will say if you plan on visiting make sure you do your research on what is open the days you plan on coming.
