✨ Keep Newfoundland beautiful and PLEASE follow Leave No Trace principles: lnt.org/why/7-principles/
Thank you for showing us such a different part of North America. The fact that you dedicated six weeks to Newfoundland is amazing. Your cinematography is top notch.
Thank you! ❤️
This entire Newfoundland series is absolutely some of your best work ever! You raise the bar continuously.......
❤
True that!
I’m born and raised in Newfoundland (st. John’s) and it’s easy to take for granted how beautiful my province is, but then I get to see it through others eyes and it makes me fall in love all over again. Newfoundlander’s are very proud people and this video is a prime example of why we are so proud of where we came from.
Welcoming people too :)) love St. John’s , winter times are great wow snow is so magical
We definitely felt the pride of the people during our visit! Everyone was very friendly and proud. We can't wait to visit again!
Not that beautiful. Very isolated cold and wind blown. Ok to visit not to live year round. California and BC are far more beautiful with way better weather. Unfortunately they are way more expensive too.
@@waynemerlo7448no Wayne...its beautiful. Weather does suck...but its beautiful.
I went to many of these same places in the summer of 2022 with my dear mother. She's gone now but it was wonderful to experience these places with her. Memories.
My condolences on the loss of your mother. How wonderful that you were able to make such beautiful memories with her!
We're sorry to hear of your loss, but glad we could bring back good memories. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for your kind words. You guys are a bright spot in my week and your videos a treat. I introduced your channel to a friend (he loved your energy immediately) who's never been to Atlantic Canada. We're now working towards making a trip there happen. Don't change and stay safe. I'll be watching. @@AdventuresofAplusK
It was our last trip together so these beautiful places mean that little bit more now. Thank you and take care. @@carolmurphy7572
I flew from the UK to Newfoundland and spent a brilliant week in St.John's back in 2015. It was my first ever solo trip and only my third time on a plane. I loved it. My abiding memory is standing on Signal Hill and realising that travel was the thing that made me happy and that I needed to see more of the world.
Signal hill has pretty views :)) when from Uk and Canada even a province is huge 😊
@@Royalizzieadventures Agreed. Any form of travel in the USA or Canada is epic when compared to the UK.
We definitely know that feeling! Travel feeds our souls. Thanks for watching!
🇨🇦 's "bookends" (Vancouver Island & Newfoundland) are absolute gems!
This has to be the most beautiful episode that I have watched from you guys! Absolutely stunning is the water and the waterfall into the ocean was unbelievable! THANK YOU so very much for bringing us along on your adventure!!!
And to think, that trail is less than 15 minutes from downtown St. John's! I am so fortunate to call such a special place my home!❤
Thank you and thanks for watching! ❤️
born and raised in Pouch cove, now living in the Pacific Northwest. I got homesick watching this. Great job guys
Thank you! We're glad we could share! We lived in Seattle for 3 years and miss it
So so beautiful….I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this one! I love the colorful buildings, the amazing waves and the delicious food! Your vlogging skills have always been great but you continue to elevate and bring us first class content! You’re THE best on TH-cam! Thank you so much! ❤
Thank you! ❤️
What a charming beautiful place. Loved it.👍😊💙🇮🇪🇨🇦🇺🇸
Wow, that spot with the waterfall and the turquoise water...magnificent!
It was unreal out there!
This has definitely made me homesick for my home city, St. John's! I haven't been back for years, and never appreciated how beautiful it was there growing up. It's definitely on my bucket list now to go back and hike some of the beautiful trails you've highlighted on the island. Thanks for bringing back fond memories:)
We had a wonderful time and it’s an amazing city and area! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thank you for visiting and showing how beautiful St.John's really is!!! 😊
Great photography on the waves. Stupendous shots. Even the weather was nice.
Such a beautiful area that is sadly not known as a great tourist destination.
Lovely to see Cape Spear. We have a programme called Race Around the World - not sure if you guys get it (or have a US version)... I bet you guys would love it... but season 3 was crossing Canada and the finish line was at Cape Spear.
We haven’t heard of that, but it sounds just like The Amazing Race. Maybe it’s the North American version. We’ve had people ask us if we ever considered trying out for a show like that.
Cape Spear was so freaking epic!
This series has been epic! Loved every minute of it! This particular Vlog is one of my favorite places y’all have been! It had everything I love to see…quaint colorful houses, beautiful ocean waters, rocky coastlines, waterfalls, fun trails and stunning scenery! My Bucket List keeps getting longer and longer! Thanks for all you do! Y’all do this so very well!!!❤
St. John's is a must visit! Thank you! ❤
Love the east coast trail. Last time we were in St. John's we did the part right out of Quidi Vidi going north. When we got to the coast we watched whales. Great video. I made note of the restaurant. Looks great.
I am happy you don’t drink. I don’t either. Your work is beautiful. I never knew newfound was so beautiful. They used to have a Newfie accent. Thank you for wonderful work. I want to go to Newfoundland as soon as I possibly can, which may be never, but I can dream.
We hope you can go! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Newfoundland is absolutely beautiful…the buildings, the coastline, the waves, the lighthouses and so much more…breathtakingly gorgeous! Thank you for continuing to show us all the beauty everywhere you travel!
I’m so glad to be watching this series and seeing my home so lovingly appreciated. My husband managed Cape Spear for years, Mallard is our favourite restaurant and Stiles Cove Path literally is 2 minutes from my house. So happy to see it all and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it. ❤❤
We had a wonderful time! Thank you! ❤
I love how you really get into places most of the time- so many of the travel TH-cam channels cover as much ground as they possibly can without really showing a place. (Side note- I saw Come From Away last night and if you are unfamiliar it is about when a whole bunch of airplanes had to land in Newfoundland on Sept 11 when the US airspace was closed- it’s an amazing show and it was extra interesting because I knew so much more about Newfoundland because of your videos)
Thank you!
Yes we watched Come From Away one night while in Newfoundland. It was such an amazing show and we experienced the friendliness and kindness of locals while we were there!
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your NL travel vlog. You've done an incredible job capturing its beauty, ruggedness and splendor. It's been heartwarming to see my home province showcased with such appreciation, detail and care. Thank-you.
Thank you! ❤
That crispy pork belly deserves, without question, an Adam "hubba hubba". Dang! That looked good!
It was so so good!
@@AdventuresofAplusK"You're killin' me, Smalls!!!"
Looking forward to your next foodie post!!!
More, please! Another stellar showcase - thank you! And, "The power of water": Crashing, falling, pouring, soaking, refreshing - so many ways water soothes our mind, body, soul, and spirit!!
When at Cape Henlopen, DE, I wanted to go to their over look to make coffee and tea on my truck tail gate while watching the sun come up. Missed it every time. (weather) Glad you guys caught it.
Darn weather!
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous landscapes! 😍 When y'all post a new video, I know it's gonna be good!
Thank you! ❤
Such a pretty town! Those fries looked amazing!
Gotta add St. John's to the bucket list. Spectacular!
You don’t talk about your Drone….but you do great work
Thank you! You can find all of our gear linked in the description
Absolutely fantastic video guys. For a one night that walk at the end on the trail Epic. I have never seen waves like that on an ocean shore. So beautiful thank you so much!❤
I lived in 3 different provinces and visited all others but Newfoundland. Your videos reinforce my desire to visit this gorgeous province in the near future. I’m wondering if you’re planning to tour the Cabot Trail on your way back? It can’t be missed.
Great series of videos on NL…I am originally from there and you did a great job showing the beauty of the area. I haven’t been back to visit in over 20 years, so much has changed in St. John’s since then. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I’m sure it will increase tourism to the Island.
Thank you and thanks for watching! ❤️
Loved this! so glad you visited The Rooms. It is a fabulous regional museum that many people skip. We had lunch there and it was really lovely. I've especially liked your restaurant recommendations in NL. we are not really foodies and pretty much stuck with breweries ( we do love beer). Next year we will be more adventurous with food.
Wow! Newfoundland is amazing and the food you were eating made me hungry. Just a thought, a merchandise idea -- you have got to put Kona on a coffee mug. That way one can have Kona on the inside and outside of a coffee mug.😀
That’s a great idea! We do have something similar coming soon so stay tuned!
Beautiful landscape! Thank you so much for sharing St John'''s with us. Love it!!
Love the town and you're having fun. It seems so impossible for me to drive 3,000 miles to Maine and get on a ferry, if I have a month . But flying will have to do, love that peaceful sunrise and sound of wave. I can sit out there for hours.
It's quite a journey to get out there! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Newfound looks like such a cool place! And those waves, wow!
❤ Best video ever snd I think I have seen all of your videos. Amazing waves. I wish you had a additional video for 45 minutes of just waves.Glad you were able yo eat at that amazing place.
Haha we might! We stood there for a long time watching!
So many beautiful places like Placentia Carbonear and Salmon cove is absolutely stunning
So many spots to see so little time! We'll be back!
You guys are so impressive that you know how to have a great time without drinking. Thank you for the inspiration.
Beautiful town. As a photographer, I’m salivating!
It's a photographer's dream!
This Newfoundland series has been one of my new favorites. What a beautiful place that most of us don't think of. You all now have my parents planning a trip out there after we watched your videos together! Thanks for always taking us along A+K!! ❤
That’s awesome to hear! Thank y’all for watching! ❤️
A & K ... Watching your journey across Newfoundland makes me proud to be from the island! Its been so much fun to see the sights & sounds. Thanks for pulling on my heart strings as I live in Vancouver #homesick 😝
We had a wonderful time out there! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful scenery ! Love watching your videos .
I love Kona’s little wagging tail shots
Love all the colorful homes! Beautiful! Bucket list! Have fun! Safe travels!
Newfoundland looks unreal
Those waves are so awesome and you did a beautiful bit of camerawork to catch the majesty of them. We thought maybe the tide was coming in. I don't comment often, but my husband and I love watching the videos of your adventures. Since I grew up on PEI, I was interested in seeing your reacations to the Atlantic Provinces!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful!! Amazing photography! Bless you on your way. ❤
One of the best travel vlogs that I've seen 🎉
Wow. Beautiful.
This Newfoundland content is amazing. I’ve said before that Newfoundland was never on my radar before but WOW…it is now! Kinda reminds me of Ireland, where I went on my honeymoon. 😊
Thank you and thanks for watching! ❤️
Wow, St. John's is really beautiful, and that coastline is surreal......
This was absolutely awesome and beautiful ❤
One of the most picturesque videos you guys have made. What a beautiful area! Thanks again, and give Kona a hug for me.
So FUN to watch you enjoy yourselves…thanks for taking us along 🇨🇦 ❤
Amazing coverage of our beautiful province. 👏🏼👏🏼
Loved your Nfld videos & your enthusiasm!! Your photography is amazing. Really enjoyed watching it all. Thank you!
I am from Nova Scotia but have never been to Newfoundland. Your series makes me want to get there soon to explore our amazing coastal province, similar to Cape Breton Island but on steroids! Your vlogs are top notch! Thank you for all your work!
That’s awesome! Newfoundland is a must visit if you ask us! Thanks and thanks for watching!
I never want you guys videos to end!!!! You show us such beautiful sights!!!! Thank you!!

This was a wonderful episode! Definitely made us want to visit St. Johns. Such a combination of a colorful, cute town and spectacular coast. :-)
Such a cute town! Loved the jelly bean row. The colors of the homes are so cheerful and vibrant! The homes tucked in the hillside looked so eclectic❤ Thank you for this amazing video.
I loved your video. Vintage A+K. It left me happy and feeling good about St.Johns and Newfoundland. I was in St John’s a number of years ago but never explored it like you did. Fantastic video.
Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed it!
I'm surprised you didn't stop in Gander where all the trans-Atlantic flights ended up on 9/11. You were checking out the Newfoundland regiment uniforms, they were in some of the worst battles in WW1, they were at Gallipoli with the Australian and they were at the battle of the Somme where British commonwealth troops got beat up badly, the Newfoundlanders probably had it the worst, with 800 men leaving the trench and only about 35 able to make roll call the next morning.
We visited Gander multiple times, but didn’t film it. Thanks for the insight on the battle!
Thanks again for this great overview of the St. John's area. Absolutely fantastic shots of all the gorgeous scenery and spectacular coastline. This series has really been very entertaining! Cheers!
Many thanks!
Can’t wait to travel to Newfoundland!! Great video....makes me want to go today!
Saw ‘Come from Away’ on Broadway NYC what wonderful, kind, generous people. Love you Newfoundland 🤪💕
Your videos are the BEST!!
❤️❤️
Great Video guys loved it
So much to see and do on the Avalon. You could spend a week there. Pouch Cove, Trepassey and the seabird colonies, Ferryland and it's historic lighthouse on a narrow peninsula, Dildo (a pretty little village in addition to a bizarre name), just to name a few. Fun fact, the barrens to the south of St. John's are a lot like Arctic tundra, right down to the fauna (ptarmigans and caribou). There is a lot to see.
Yes so much to see and do out there!
Hello, very beautiful ,thank you for sharing nice video
Duke of Duckworth was always one of my favourites, but I didn't drink much, I went for the atmosphere and the ploughman's lunch.
I consider your videos to be best in class, well done and informative, Thanks from Ontario Canada
Thank you and thanks for watching! ❤️
You made me laugh as you played in the wind at Signal Hill. I've watched several of your videos on your tour of our island. I'm impressed with your info and capturing its beauty. So, I subscribed. Great work. (ps: you guys eat a lot😅)
Thank you so much! We do love to eat! 😀 we move a lot too!
Wow this looks awesome. I think it's one of my favorites of the series. I would love to see st John's. I watch Hudson and rex show its filmed there. I this it's soo cool. If you have never watched it, you need to. It's so cute.
You guys are so awesome. Getting up so early to show us some magnificent sunrises and that beautiful awesome scenery along the coast.
We'll look into that show! Thank you and thanks for watching! ❤
Visited St Johns a copuple of weeks ago by cruise ship. Foggy all day! Nice to see what it would have looked like!
I love your Newfoundland videos! I am here in this wonderful place by marrying a wonderful Newfoundlander. And go on our trip round NL this year. Yall did an outstanding job and did so much homework. I am so seriously impressed! Thanks so much!!
We loved our time in Newfoundland! Thank you and thanks for watching!
I agree with one of the other viewers, this series has been fantastic. I enjoyed this whole video from the sunrise to the colorful bldgs, to the food, to the water and waves and the drone shots! Super duper job!!! I want to go to Newfoundland!!
Thank you very much! It's a must visit in our eyes!
Such a beautiful place. The sunrise reminded me a bit of Cadillac Mountain as well (minus the waves) Great video!
Two years ago while in St. John's, I came upon a vehicle with a Texas lisence plate, from West Houston Subaru. It was personalized "YESBY".
Your videos are shockingly good. Thanks for giving us a chance to come along.
Thank you!
Another great video! My wife and I are from Corpus Christi and love and are inspired by your videos. We recently traveled to Seattle and Mt. Rainier to hike the Skyline Trail in the snow. Really appreciate you guys and your love for the outdoors. Thank you a million times.
That is awesome! Thank y’all for watching!
i enjoyed very much , this city is really mesmerized ,and pretty much nice ,lovly
Such a nice film. It's very likeable how you talk about your trip, great pictures, nice editing and a really great dramaturgy. Very well done.
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Thank you guys so much for visiting our island, you guys are a perfect match, glad you got to see a sliver of the southern shore by hiking out to the spout, the lamanch suspension bridge on the east coast trail would of been a real treat to see as well, so make sure to put that in your itinerary when you come back, hopefully late june early july for the whales and icebergs. Go Cowboys
That segment was in heavy consideration for us. We definitely hope we can see it next time! We'll definitely be back and yes we will make sure to come during whale and iceberg season! Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great video. Next summer we're off to Nfld😊
Amazing place.
You are a very beautiful couple and your ideas are good about tourism. I personally enjoyed your videos. Thank you for your work, keep going.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Adam and Katherine are two of the best bloggers on TH-cam! Your series on Nova Scotia and Newfoundland has us BC Canadians in awe! Thank you for your hard work and showing us our unique, beautiful country. We thoroughly enjoy every video you produce.
Wow, thank you!
beautiful
Love this
You guys are great. I'm planning a trip from Vancouver to Watson Lake YK on the AlCan highway and then down south on the Stewart Cassiar highway. You have given me many good tips and I am grateful for that. Oh ya, I've got my sign all made up for the "Sign Post Forest" in Watson Lake , Yukon. Keep up the wonderful "reporting". God bless from the Philippines
That's awesome! Be sure to check out our guides on our website. We have detailed guides for both the Alcan, Stewart-Cassiar, and so much more!

I did a "Screech In" for a friend's family several years ago. Some of them didn't drink either. So instead of Screech, I had them take a shot of undiluted Purity Syrup. If you know how horribly sickly sweet that is, then you know they did not get off easy!
Oh that's an interesting twist!
@AdventuresofAplusK I've seen a bunch of inclusive Screech-In ceremonies where tea-totallers are offered local favourite Pineapple Crush, Purity Syrup, or Iceberg Water, and pregnant or nursing moms are offered milk or Iceberg Water. At the end of the ceremony, participants become "Honorary Newfoundlanders" and are given a certificate of their membership in the "Loyal Order of Newfoundland Screechers".
Partaking in alcohol isn't a requirement to partaking in the fun! We fully understand and respect that people don't drink for any number of reasons, but we want you to enjoy every aspect of your visit to our fair province. ❤
You guys ate a blessing to start my day out. You are a blessing and in this time of turmoil you give a peace to it. FB, CA.... PS, my Brothern-law watch you to. THANKS 😎
Thank you all for watching!
