So let me understand this. He assaults his stepfather. He goes to live with his enabling grandparents. He commits assault against his girlfriend. He goes to drug rehab and when he's released, his stepfather has to move out so this little snot can go home to mommy. Stepfather then has to go to court to get the PPO released so the stepfather can move back into his own home. Disgusting. The mother is disgusting too.

Well of course mommy came to the rescue ... again. She's been doing everything in her power to make sure her child gets what he want without any responsibility or reason. That's why he's here, why he dropped out of school. Why he thinks he can assault people when he doesn't get his way.

i was lucky, my one kid got a PHD in Pharmacy. But, there is NO way I would have allowed him to grow up without a full high school education, or whatever is equivalent if he had a learning disability, if he started to slack off in school. In the early days, it was a little iffy because I was an A student and have multiple engineering degrees. I think he started resenting my comparison of him to me. I had to lay off a little and let him do his own thing. He didn't get a 4.0 in high school but he did even better than me when he got to college.

What judge Boyd (as a parent and the judicial system) system) has/is attempting to do is put strict boundaries on him in an attempt to get him yo straighten out his life, and to prevent him from entering the adult penitentiary system as that is the equivalent of throwing him away for the remainder of his life). @@tamaraadams6432 A person can admit anything they want, including murder. However, the way the legal system works is that, if the case is adjudicated, it's basically placed on hold, and no formal finding of an act committed is documented, making it still an allegation at that point, even if both parties admit to the act. This is purely for the process and legal records, and is necessary for adjudication. If the judge were to officially enter into record that a crime had been committed, then her options for what she can offer him would be limited; it's now a criminal record that she has to apply a sentence to or refer for a jury trial. Therefore, to be eligible for adjudication, the allegations must remain just that, an allegation, as far as the official record is concerned. Now, if he continues to fail at his conditions of probation, then she will revoke adjudication, and she can either sentence him or offer him a jury trial. Again, this is purely to be able to offer him options to get and be better without clogging up the prison system with smaller offenses that she believes he can improve upon outside the prison system, as well as for legal documentation. Yes, the step father is clearly a victim, but we're talking about what it means for the legal system, so in the eyes of the court and the state, he is still the alleged victim.

“You’re not going to prison today.” Why? As much as I’ve come to love Judge Boyd I’ve come to understand she’s way too soft. She needs to protect the public. To me once he lied this last time: that’s it. She doesn’t need to give him the full 10. But I think maybe 5 years in prison for beating up people old people and girls while carrying deadly weapons is fair. Are we going to wait til he kills some elderly person or someone’s daughter? He’s going to assault again and when he does, it’s Judge Boyd’s fault. I know it’s not popular but that’s how I feel. He may fool them but he’s not fooling me.

Maybe it’s because there was a year between the offenses?? But on that same note it was a NEW offense! So he really should have been locked up. I hate to say it but I think he’s as doomed as they come. He’s going to ruin his mothers marriage unless she gets smart and lets him figure it out on his own.
