I’m a volunteer Fire lookout at Palomar Mountain State Park’s Boucher Hill Tower. We also have another tower, High Point Tower, which is located 2 miles east of the 200”. It’s such an incredible sight to be up in the 70’ tall High Point tower and being able to see all of the domes that are located on the observatory grounds. It’s such a tribute to the genius design of the 200” that it is still in use since its commissioning in 1948 and first light in ‘49! Priceless! Thanks for the video!
On July 26th, 1974 at 628pm, there was a paranormal psychokinesis experiment at NBC universe studio in Los Angeles. At that moment all the clocks stop at Mount Palomar Observatory.

Great video! loved the drone footage. And the Milky Way time-lapse with the domes rotating in seconds was awesome.

Such precision. Science rocks. Wear your masks correctly eh? Tends to put a hitch in the visuals imo.
