Thank you, very nicely explained. To cut voip costs (no matter who is your VoIP provider), make sure to answer your calls and not to keep callers waiting in the queue. Remember you are paying for VoIP minutes usage, not for the calls :)
Hi Fernando, I usually only like your videos, but this time I would like to ask you a question about 3CX. I've also set up a 3CX system with a trunk number, and it's working fine. I can even use a digital receptionist, which is cool for a private person, but I can't handle direct extension numbers. When you have 2 users, how is it possible with 3CX to dial the trunk number + the user's extension? I'm struggling... Thanks if you know how it works.
I'm curious about 3CX as a provider-is it a solid choice? I've come across many positive reviews of Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX. How does 3CX stack up against Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX? Thank you!
Fernando, great explanation btw I got two questions 1: what others sip trunking providers have a cheaper rate? 2: do you have any sip trunking provider that charges per seat instead of per minute rate?
Can you do a video on how you can port a business mobile phone number already in use, into the 3CX phone system, using the VoxTelessys as the SIP trunk provider. Thank you.
If the Admin add users.... does each user can login to adjust the setting..... such as call forwading, rings, etc... or only the Admin can login...? I do not see how to create password on each user page after adding user...
There are two portals the web client portal and the admin portal, the admin portal you can create users and only give them the permissions you want. So its quite secure and roles are very flexible.
I'm currently using the enterprise version now, but I think just do an IVR and set the call to be forwarded to another number. But again this may be a question 3CX support may be able to help!
Not sure if this is a solution you are talking about but there are some boxes that allow you to connect analog phones virtually making any phone into an internet VOIP phone. Grandstream has one that may work with 3cx.
No. It doesn't. 3CX is pretty much free for 1 year or up to 10 users. So to be clear, you're only paying for the phone number etc... on Skyetel. I myself am in the process of doing this. The only thing is 3CX is asking for a "main trunk number" and we didn't see that in the video. I'm wondering if I should buy a number first. Seems, @Fernando did it last. I'm kinda stuck on this.
Hello, yes you are to buy the number first, and then you will use that as your main trunk number on 3cx. Also be sure to add the country code, I had toruble the first time because i didn't add the +1 for US numbers. Hope this helps!
Yes you top up account first and then you can purchase number. I think they only allow you to top up $25 or $10 so you may have to top up a bit more than you may need to buy number.
Hello thanks for watching, I unfortunately only set this up in the US. Maybe later we can do UAE, twillio should work as SIP Trunk provider but you would need 3cx self hosted plan.
Yes this tutorial actually shows you how to do that as long as you host it with 3CX, but if you question is you host it yourself on the cloud that is also possible, I did with digital ocean. We had Amazon AWS before but it was too complex.

Wow great tip! Thanks for sharing!!

Been using a Cicio SPA for years with a voip service. This is more for fun so 3CX and my antique phones.
This is for sure a journey, ahah its almost a love hate relationship with all my VOIP phones.

Thanks for reaching out, personally speaking i've been using 3cx, although their cupport could be better, I don't have any reference on Thirdlane.

I'll add this to my list and see If I can add this

Hello is any solution to integration 3cx system with analog phones NEC normal phones?
Not sure if this is a solution you are talking about but there are some boxes that allow you to connect analog phones virtually making any phone into an internet VOIP phone. Grandstream has one that may work with 3cx.
It is very helpful, can you please let me know if I can use it from Bangladesh for call centre, working for usa client.
Yes absolutely you can use this in Bangladesh!!!
What sip trunk can I use in Australia to connect to 3cx
Check this site out, it displays all sip trunks by country: www.3cx.com/partners/sip-trunks/
So if I add a sip trunk in the same manner that you did does 3cx charge me money?
No. It doesn't. 3CX is pretty much free for 1 year or up to 10 users. So to be clear, you're only paying for the phone number etc... on Skyetel. I myself am in the process of doing this. I want to divert calls on an previously active number, how can that be performed?
I don't think I understand the question, can you elaborate on a story what you are trying to accomplish?
@@fernando_h_001 I already have a number where my customers call, I want calls to be diverted on 3cx on the same number. Did you get now?
Failed to purchase phone number. Do I have to top up the account?
It's quite likely you have to top up the account and it'll deduct from that balance.
Yes you top up account first and then you can purchase number. I think they only allow you to top up $25 or $10 so you may have to top up a bit more than you may need to buy number.
Can yo explain me for uae daler

3cx dose not support skyetel
This is very strange, we are still working with Skytel, are you sure it is the startup plan?
I see the same issue as well. It is not listed as a preferred or supported provider
Is it possible to install voip on cloud server?
Yes this tutorial actually shows you how to do that as long as you host it with 3CX, but if you question is you host it yourself on the cloud that is also possible, I did with digital ocean. We had Amazon AWS before but it was too complex.
@@fernando_h_001 thank you. I have a cloud server with hertzner that I use it for other things. Was gonna try install VoIP on it.
