The Gloaming looks really neat! I love books that are a little weird

I also read Funny Story in May and loved it! I really connected to Miles and Daphne and appreciated the side characters and banter as well, but can understand your reasoning behind not fully loving it. Book Lovers is a good one too, hope you love that! In May I also really enjoyed The Familiar and The Women 😊

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed Funny Story ☺️ I think it's really interesting how her different books affect people in different ways! definitely getting to book lovers soon 😁 and the familiar sounds really interesting! I've not read any of Leigh Bardugo's adult books yet but I'm really curious to try them

I have read 'Get A Life, Chloe Brown' and it was the same vibes. Sassy and funny and spicy. I am currently reading 'Book Lovers' and it's super cute. Probably my favourite of the 3 Emily Henrys that I've read so far (though Happy Place definitely has more depth and angst. I also read You and Me on Vacation, which was just ok for me)
I read 1 5 star book in May - 'They Both Die At The End'. Only my third 5 star of the year. I loved it, it broke me.
