Here's my list for you: 1. Above All, Honor by Radclyffe - I imagine it as sapphic version of "The Bodyguard" by Whitney Houston. 2. Breaking Character by Lee Winter - Imagine it as "Bloomington" but behind the scenes. 3. Just for Show by JAE - Marriage by contract 4. Lesbian Billionaires Club by KC Luck - Imagine the MCs as Supercorp but no superhero thing. 5. The Fixer + Chaos Agent by Lee Winter - Another Supercorp but you won't be able to drop it. 6. The Loudest Silence by Olivia Janae - I loved the topic about deaf people, very educational as well. I can't remember the rest, maybe I'll have to revisit my entire library. TIP: You may wanna listen to "Fall Again" by Glenn Lewis on loop while reading any of these.
Another PS: I listened to all of these, audiobook while doing house chores or relaxing except Above All, Honor- I just really don't like the voice of narrator.. so glad I read it instead.
I have a great book that could fall on this list as well. It's called The Princess's Pet. It's a dark romance with a second book as a series. It's well written and i doubt you'd be disappointed.
At this point you leave me no other choice but to pick up mistakes were made. Because slowly I feel like I'm missing something :') Also it's funny that you mentioned the subway scene in OLS. I liked it as well, but so many critique it because they can only think of it as a dirty place :')
Any suggestions? I’m a first time writer, I found a deep passion for writing and as I am lesbian, I wanted to give my community the books they deserve. I’d like to disclose that as the author, I will probably be biased since it’s my own creation so please keep in mind that getting my book to a wanting audience is my goal and I’ll be transparent by that but genuinely, I could see myself benching it on my period in a heartbeat. Though my book is not yet published, it’s at page 327 out of I have no idea how many thousands of pages there will be and I would love to get some ideas or suggestions of what the community would like to read! Short context without major spoilers, it’s a dark romance wlw with a tad bit of thriller and physiological stuff sprinkled in as a bonus. The relationship between the characters is rather intense, meant to keep the reader on their toes, any thoughts? I’d love to hear them! It’ll be published under the name of Hit me like a woman which might give off some hints of the direction it’s going to sass its way over to.
I already had my eye on a couple books, I came across this video... I'm hesitant to trust the taste of somebody I don't know but "Mistakes Were Made" really sounded interesting, so I added it to my order, got it a few days ago... I read it back-to-back, god that was a great book. I want to gush a bit about all the ways it pleasantly surprised me; I'll do that in a reply to this comment, but to keep this comment relatively short: just the idea, the overall story arc, could've given us a good, comfortable, satisfying book simply by being nothing more than "solid" in execution; like, a 6/10 would've been an enjoyable read, would've been worth the purchase. But god, the *layers*, the choices that were made at certain inflection points, were so deftly handled... I remember looking up at one point, noticing I was on page 68, and thinking how I expected to be at least 100 pages in because of how much had been stuffed into those 68 pages; the character development, the plot, it's crazy that so much had been packed into that amount of pages.
I completely get your feelings! I felt the same way especially taking in my low expectations after reading the debut novel and not loving it. I'm currently reading Cleat Cute by the same author and it's very enjoyable as well💜
You have 24 hours away from work/school. Which one of these you’re reading?
Out on good behavior! I’ve read more than half the book today. I really enjoy it thanks for the recommendation!
This is rare indeed. An adult talking about adult things in an adult manner. Excellent video.

That was my goal the whole time😂😂
P.S. I know so many gals that hooked up in dark alleys in real life that the train somehow is less offensive
Thanks for the recs! 😃

Katia Rose writes a bunch of new adult sapphic romances, btw
thank you!
@@BooksWaffles “Catch and Cradle” is excellent, as are the Three Rivers Trilogy
I read Mistakes Were Made and it was such a great book. I'm not a fan of age gaps, but this one is just so sweet, sexy, and cool 😂
It was a delightful suprise for me as well!
need to read some Weatherspoon
The best one I have ever read: Beyond Any Experience by Anne E. Terpstra. It’s a great book, well written and very spicy!
Thank you! I will look it up!
