I’ve worked on a lot of horrendous hair in my time, in terrible condition. But OMG I was horrified at the finished result, and condition, on this video........I wouldn’t have put this on line.
I was surprised at how briskly (aka roughly) the stylist brushed through that poor hair... needs a conditioning treatment and color!
I know...right! Her hair looked better before it was cut!
She could have pulled it back in a low ponytail and hacked it off....by herself.
Is there a part 2 to this that includes conditioning, color treatments and styling? Glad to see I wasn't the only one to be utterly shocked at how she ended this!

None or very little conditioner, that hair dried very quickly. Bleach and perm? Never cross your legs at the hairdresser, it alters your posture. That was cringeworthy.

This is how I look after going to a hairdresser....always go in with hope of a good haircut and style and I leave wondering if the stylist went to cosmetology school or got her license at Walmart. So I can relate to this video.

What did I just watch? A terrible haircut. Crossed legs, never!! No final look at new do. Probably because it didn't turn out well. Her hair was fried already this cut was a disaster.

I was about to make an appointment at a salon when I walked by and saw clients without masks. I cut my own hair instead. Salons are small enclosed spaces. I hope to outlive my bad self cut and then find a salon that complied.

I can’t watch the way the stylist is pulling at her hair all the time. The clients hair was fried to start with so a conditioning treatment was needed and with frizzy hair, wrong style and the stylist kept fluffing up clients hair all the time while cutting and with the clients fried hair it was a disaster getting worse by the minute.
She didnt even wash her hair. At least if she washed it she would have put conditioner in it and it would have combed better and easier.

The hairdresser did the best she could with fried hair. The hair condition was terrible and really needs a pixie and start over.

Hair COULD have been conditioned and saved. No need to chop off. Stylist should have conditioned,then go from there.

I thought they advise clients not to have their legs crossed when getting a haircut. My hairdresser ensures my legs are straight.
Yep, it can knock ya whole body out of enlightenment posture-wise and helps if ya uncross them when ya have a haircut.

Oh! my where to begin. First tell your client to uncross her legs this will alter the hair cut she should be sitting straight. Second why? as the hairdresser are you bending in these awkward positions the chair has a leaver which allows the chair to go up and down, use it. Third put some leave-in conditioner in her hair while it is being cut. Her hair is so dry and damaged you can barely get the comb through it. Fourth when you are checking a hair cut for evenness on both sides cutting off the longer piece does not make it an even hair cut. Ok I'll stop now.

As a hairdresser I would have put some leave in conditioner in that hair...poor customer has to put up with all that pulling. You can tell the customer isn't very happy!! I would have straightened her hair when done and made sure it was even!!

I always put conditioner in my spray bottle she needs more than leave in conditioner her hair should hav had layers at the crown the weight line was too low for her hair type her curl would of looked better and now she looks like a bowl was put on her head . The hairstylist did a good job considering the hair was extremely damaged over processed I would have used thinning scissors where her weight line was to soften the hair .... what a disaster not the stylist fault you can’t fix damaged hair with a haircut proper tinting of the hair is the first step ... I have a motto never touch a disaster someone else did I would rather loose the money than to have her walk out of my salon and people look at her hair a judge that I created that mess

omfg I watched this stylist the other day doing a similar haircut with the same results. ...this is horrible. I had to share it with my stylist. I do not understand why any salon would want to share this.

At least the length on the hair was holding down and managing some of the frizz Enos. With hair that so over-processed and damaged when you cut it short like that it's just going to buff out like a ball on her head! Have the client keep their legs on Cross for the entire haircut! I could go on but better yet I'll just never be back!
That haircut is not for that tape of hair. IT looks so dry. I wouldnt pay.

I'm not a hair stylist, but would be horrified if my hair was cut into this. She didn't shape it by styling, she should have also done a hair treatment and color. She could have also played up the lovely curl. I hope the client goes back for more attention, she deserves better.

Why use a brush on wet hair? Wide tooth comb on wet hair. Why stoop over? There is a bar on bottom of that chair she can raise her client up. Just a few to start.

I totally agree...My stylist would not let me grow my hair after I told him that was my goal. I got fed up and started coloring it and cutting it myself and I never looked back. I just turned seventy and still rock long hair. People think I am twenty years younger. I hate salons and hairdressers with a passion. One stylist was jealous of my long hair and was in a bad mood, so she hacked off 7 inches when I just wanted a trim.

I thought this was going to be one of those incredible transformations, but it turned out to be the opposite. The client’s hair was way over processed and not a good look, but I worry that trying to correct the colour would cause even more damage. The stylist was rough at times with the comb and I wondered if she could have taken more advantage of what seemed to be natural curls. The ending was abrupt and confusing as I can’t imagine she was finished with the job. This was bad!
It's fair to say that the hairdresser tried to save what could be saved.
Because of the bleaching, the hair was simply too damaged, as were the curls. I don't know if the customer bleached her hair herself.
I would be very careful with hair that dark, you can see the result and then the hairdresser can fix it...
