Daves YT videos are very long, but ICT's is pretty short? The entire DTFX mentorship videos is way shorter than ICT 2022 mentorship. then we have core content series, 2023 mentorship and co.

Even at 2x speed it's a bit of a slog to go through, and a typical 3 hour video will at most contain 20 minutes of critical useful information. The rest is just filler. It's just lazy and a little editing would go a long way.

Bro, you need to learn to keep your charts clean like this. Your charts are by far the nastiest ones I've ever seen. There's a reason why you don't have much views, it's not because of the long winded videos, it's because of the long winded nasty charts no one likes seeing.
The reversal pattern is known as the King's Crown. Looks like the Head-and-Shoulder pattern, but with better risk to reward-ratio. And when you can identify the ABCD pattern too it's much easier. When you find a potential reversal on a higher timeframe you go to the lower timeframe where you look for confirmation which is the same reversal pattern. Good video.
This really is a cheat code. A 10 minute range following daily and hourly bias, with a 1 minute entry, to the 10 minute high/low. On repeat. Again, and again, and again.

for someone who claims to not have been using this system very long, you explain it very well. You do not rush over things like so many tutors on youtube, you go over things thoroughly , and anything i can't quite get, i just replay it. i've seen this video maybe 5 or 6 times and will keep watching until everything is drilled into my mind like breathing. I'm looking forward to more of the same kind of explanation and examples. i'd particularly like to see more examples of the current range and previous range as sometimes the protected lows or highs are hidden in choppy action. i'd also like to see how far you should go back with the high and low limits of current range, does it start from the highest high or lowest low and just carry on until present time, or are you just going back around a year and creating the range limits?
Once I thoroughly learned about market structure and cycles, and applied it to my own strategy and became rich. I'm so freaking thankful. This information changed my life 😊

In my personal experience when the swing retracement is ending and you see the first signals of the start of the new impulse, it's better to enter without having to wait for a lot of confirmations because most of the times price flies and you lose the oportunity. So when I see the first BOS in the lower time frame I just enter on the 50% retracement that caused the BOS, now this means I may have a 20pip SL but at least I make sure I catch the whole impulsive leg from the start.
Good morning, sir. Could you tell me what confirmations do you use to know that the Bos has finished its run and will have a new impulse? Several times it has happened to me, I think it is already going to go back and continue its trajectory even forming a new Bos. I would like to know what method you use to know to avoid early entry. I have gone through so many videos drawing structure out advanced structure etc and yourself and now Dave have absolutely nailed it. You have answered all my questions like I knew I was following external structure but I still didn't know was I bearish if price only wicked the external structure but was bullish inside it and I have been manipulated to hell trying to trade and hating backtesting because I didn't understand why one tf was going one way I was getting so confused and you can't backtest properly if you don't know exactly why things are happening and what you're looking for. I was obsessed with Wyckoff because I knew a lot of the time what was coming next. Omg you have saved my life I know that I will make it now. I understand that I have to backtest a lot. Dave is sound too love his tunes! He really knows his stuff!

This is one of the better trading videos I've watched and I've watched a ton. While I'm a fan, I think all the ICT and SMC concepts have a tendency to complicate things a little too much - especially for newer traders like myself. I often found myself hesitant to make a trade because I was having analysis by paralysis. Your strategy here provides a nice basic approach and has helped me become a more consistently profitable these last few weeks. To your point, this strategy provides a foundation for which you can add more ICT/SMC concepts and build your own trading model as more experience is gained. I would like to suggest newer traders should watch this video and spend more time learning market structure as it's the foundation from which everything is built on. Thank you for making this!

Hey dude, I just wanted to say, my Journey and yours are pretty similar. I also started in 2020, ICT in 2022 August and the past 2 months I have been building on a Model, that is quite literally THIS!! WTH man. Lol .. I can't believe it myself either. Two people, don't know each other different mentors, paths, learning material and we end up with the same model. I've also been following Dave's posts but haven't gotten into his teachings yet. Maybe in another 2-3 months after I am satisfied with my current tests. But if this is what he teaches then everything I have done has led me to this moment. Very much looking forward to it. Watching this has helped me validate that I am indeed on the right path, of course I knew it, after all this time, this is what has made sense to me. But it's great seeing somebody else saying it The only thing I'm not using is Dexter's standard deviation but everything else, top down is what I'm looking at. Another thing, I will usually not take 1st TP at the 2.5 area - which aligns with previous high/low that I actually use, rather it's a spot to set my SL break-even.

basically I agree but my experience says that often times after that manipulation price is not going pullback to 50%, it makes way less pullback and then goes. So maybe the better solution is to scale in, two entries, averaging down, that way you always get entry.
@36:00 screen I’m confused as to why the higher of the 2 lows you have marked is responsible for the higher high at the top. What happened in the middle to make you generate another high low?
Looking back at the 4 hr NQ chart for august 23...man you nailed it. You called it. It actually went lower than you suggested. It pulled back to the liquidity void that you can't see on the video and then retraced back higher. I wonder how your doing today. I imagine your doing well. Please post more...give us an update... people need your help. Talk to us about patience and stalking the setup ..talk to us about holding through it...talk to us about position sizing and emotional aspects...you will get a million subs.
Amazing content brother. When you talked about you journey, damn, you were talking about me. Started with patterns, tried "exotic" methods like SMC and ICT, nothing helped with consistency. Ended up with more confusion and less confidence. Market structure + FVG made my life simple. You put everything in this video together and it helped me to have better vision of things. Thanks for the content! Only question I got for you is this: 1. I have 50% of the 4H market structure were I expect the price to reach. 2. I have two options: either enter directly or either go on low time frame and wait for the market structure there. I have used option 1 often and it worked awsome on the 4H for 1:2 RR. What's you immediate lower time frame after 4H? 5 minute? I backtested on 5 minute on forex and had some fakeouts. Maybe it's better to wait for 15 minute market structure reversal on the 4h poi? It works, but it may not work how you think it works so I suggest you to look into your charts and backtest with the framework that I have outlined in the video. Doing this should help you the most
I think there is a third way the market moves besides consolidation and expansion, in the way you’ve chosen to display them. The third way the markets move can plainly be called “breakout”, or a parabolic expansion that offers no entry based on inside lows or highs.

basically I agree but my experience says that often times after that manipulation price is not going pullback to 50%, it makes way less pullback and then goes. So maybe the better solution is to scale in, two entries, averaging down, that way you always get entry.

Looking back at the 4 hr NQ chart for august 23...man you nailed it. You called it. It actually went lower than you suggested. It pulled back to the liquidity void that you can't see on the video and then retraced back higher. I wonder how your doing today. I imagine your doing well. Please post more...give us an update... people need your help. Talk to us about patience and stalking the setup ..talk to us about holding through it...talk to us about position sizing and emotional aspects...you will get a million subs.

Amazing content brother. When you talked about you journey, damn, you were talking about me. Started with patterns, tried "exotic" methods like SMC and ICT, nothing helped with consistency. Ended up with more confusion and less confidence.

Only question I got for you is this:
1. I have 50% of the 4H market structure were I expect the price to reach.
2. I have two options: either enter directly or either go on low time frame and wait for the market structure there.
I have used option 1 often and it worked awsome on the 4H for 1:2 RR.
What's you immediate lower time frame after 4H? 5 minute?
I backtested on 5 minute on forex and had some fakeouts. Maybe it's better to wait for 15 minute market structure reversal on the 4h poi?

Use 15m for the 4hr. That’s the classification of timeframes taught in ict that ive been learning so far. Use 5min for 1 hour, and 1 min for the 5min.

It works, but it may not work how you think it works so I suggest you to look into your charts and backtest with the framework that I have outlined in the video. Doing this should help you the most

I think there is a third way the market moves besides consolidation and expansion, in the way you’ve chosen to display them. The third way the markets move can plainly be called “breakout”, or a parabolic expansion that offers no entry based on inside lows or highs.
