      Hey I have a question to candle sticks's singal-significance. How do I know which candle sticks pattern are the most valid signals and which lose in significance? Is there a hierarchy? How valid are they in smaller time frames?

    This is a very good strategy, and you made it easy to understand. I have taken at least 4 trades with this so far and I have not lost any of them. Thank you for putting this online for free. I have spent quite a bit on courses, etc.; but I find it amazing that some of the best strategies out there for forex trading, are actually free. Who would have thought? 😂

    My advice: for newbies to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Why newbie make huge losses on trade is because investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. that will stop you from trading, this has been one of the biggest problem to new traders, l've learned this from my own experience

    Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

      Day trading is when you buy and sell a security in the same trading day. Scalping is a strategy for day trading. You're in and out of a trade same day and often very quickly. You made an error when you said long term holds= day trading. That's not correct lol

    vrey professional, but how can you determine which market to trade? it is very hard to focus on so many markets at the same time.

    • @gingerm7800
      @gingerm7800 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You look through the instruments in your watch list and focus on the one(s) that match your setup. (With Riley's reversal strategy, that would be a break in a trendline off Support or Resistance.) Say, if you have 6 instruments you follow, maybe only 1 of them will be in proper position. Beginners chase all the things happening on a chart, but the profitable ones are waiting for the market to come to them with the very specific pattern they are looking for. They wait like a hunter.

    Just getting into this. Question, if you can “bet” for a lack of a better word, that a stock will either go bull or bear essentially, why don’t you bet that market all day? For example, if the market your trading hits the resistance zone, and starts reversing so you buy in betting it’ll go lower, well when it gets lower, say you make 3 times your money or whatever and there’s another reversal, why don’t you bet it’s going to go up? Back and forth on the same market all day ?

    Total newbie Question: you have prolly answered or it’s prolly obvious but… why get out.. couldn’t you switch to a long run and wait till it comes back? Is it cuz it takes a big percentage of capital to get into these trades? Does your capital just sit in liquid till you want to use it?

    Relying strictly on chart price action which is: the type of candle, trendlines, support / resistance, etc. is just not enough for me. Pro traders will also note where the DOW, the NAS, and the S&P are. For trading long, I like to see the DOW at or above 200, but above 400 is better, NAS and S&P following along. If the 3 markets are not all significantly positive together, I stand back. The opposite for going short. If you don't have concurrence, and the market is light or going sideways, the pro's can spike you up or down, taking out your stops.

      @@hellokgr I’ve found some great success in his strategy too! How long have you been using it? I only discovered Riley’s way about two weeks ago? So far I’ve succeeded every time I follow his rules. But I’m trying to be realistic haha. Making sure I’m not on a lucky winning streak. I did seem to fail this morning though. But I think the double bottom didn’t fully form. I thought it was a pull back and maybe not quite. But I only lost 8 ticks. I could have moved my stop loss up to 4 ticks in the green but I went back because I know Riley doesn’t even move his stop loss til he sees the price move about 2xs the distance. At least that’s how I see it. So I decided to let the trade breathe and still lost. But I’m still proud of myself because I was able to walk away since I’m doing his 1 trade a day for 30 days. I feel that’s the only way to test a strategy and see if it will make you profitable. Well I’m rambling now. Thank you in advance if you reply!

    Also, how much was invested? It feels like you have to be investing thousands and thousands for these small movements to add up to 10s and 100s of dollars, but then he talks about 3x-ing his money at 1,700?

    Am I mistaken or if you have 50$ gain or loss for every cent going up or down. It means that you have 5000 stocks of it (50/0.01). So for the second trade, it was 5000*77.13 = 385,650$ to invest. Not really the small investor. I don't know much about stock markets but if I'm correct, it's just not worth it if you're a guy with a 1000$ to invest..

      Hi, finally someone smart enough to tell people around the truth. It's looking nice and easy, but if you want to earn 1K$ in couple of minutes, you should invest 100K at least. So taking a high risk of loosing all of your invests. Using ratio of 1 to 100, if you are risking about 1K$, the profit/loss would be 10$.

    • @user_abcxyzz
      @user_abcxyzz 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Gotta start somewhere. If you have 1k, you may want to risk 5 percent ($50) with the target profit of either 100$ or 150$. But yes, the price of the stock you're trading will impact this. You can buy more of a 1$ stock than you can of a 100$ stock....in the beginning it's important to just be consistent and good at a strategy. Slow and steady

      If you are thinking of investing in the stock market and you are not well versed, its advisable to work with a financial advisor who is an expert to guide you through the process. this way you could make more profit with less risk

    • @Earth67Mars48
      @Earth67Mars48 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are new to trading, only trade 1 contract.
      If you are consistently profitable over 2-3 months, then go to 2 contracts.
      You must have rules to follow.
      And not get overly emotional.
      Your mental clarity is prime.
