Thanks Ray, it ended up making not a bad bale, I’ve got some things to test next time though. And that’s right, back when we built things 💪🏻

    Hi Terrance.
I can tell by the look on your face how delighted you are to have all the plant in the paddock working well harvesting the crop you planted.
Great to have the help too. I wish I was there. I have loads of questions and maybe advice but all seems to be working well. So you don't really need help from a middle aged hobby farmer from S.A.
Looks like a fine baler in every way. No nasty noises and running smoothly.
I have been busting to ask, what are you going to with the hay ? I haven't seen any animals!
    Perhaps you will sell it.
When we came here I had a Fordson major diesel small square baler and 16 run combine and never dreamt of getting bigger machinery. As the years rolled by we got a couple of 70 hp Leyland tractors and now a Ford 7700 cab. And a round baler and a 24 run combine. All cheep as but easyer on the body. Never thought I would say such a thing when I was your age. Still have all the enthusiasm.
Really enjoying the videos you are posting, thank you.
    Dave.

Thanks David! I was really happy that everything was working! I had serviced everything to give it the best chance when the time came, although you never really know until it starts working. I appreciate the advice anytime ! 👍🏻 I’ll be selling most of the hay, I think most is answered for and may be some bales left. My mate has some sheep here at the minute, although we will get some at some point. This years crop was more about controlling the weeds as it hadn’t been farmed in quite a while. I’m going to try and stay with old gear, possibly get something bigger but I’ll stick with old! Thanks heaps mate and really appreciate it! 👍🏻

@@RustedIronRanch A tractor with a loader you will never regret. A Massey 168 or equivalent. Perhaps I can suggest a Leyland 272 with loader. A very fine tractor but cheeper, no body wants them. It would fit in your sheds and still handle the equipment you have. It is a bit of a step but I find this machinery finds me more than I go looking for it. Just being ready to buy when the opportunity is in frount of you.

We’ve got a skid steer loader, so we’re sorted there 👍🏻. I’d like to stick with either Massey or maybe even a Chamberlain or an 6 cylinder International 👌🏻

What tire size on the 135?

    • @RustedIronRanch

This 135 has the 24” rears, I believe the size is 14.9-24. 👍🏻
