Thanks for sharing your setup man! You look very well equipped for your travels. I like your bed platform design, especially the rear table access/storage area and the pullout table. I need to upgrade to an awning like yours. My DIY one works, but I’d like to have rigid sides. Good luck on the rest of your trip! 👍🏼
That looks awesome! I was wondering about how many miles you have on it since I want to take mine over landing but worried about the miles, 300k. I live in Wisconsin and they use plenty of salt on the roads. Also do you have a different suspension kit or battery setup? and how did you get that snorkel i think that would look cool, if not functional for my usage, anyways thanks for uploading and hope you have safe travels!
Check out Garage Built Hondas newest video, I did a walk through. And the first CR-V I bought was actually in Waukesha and it was salty but drove fine 👍
@@rt4wd_wolff I just got a steal of a deal on a tepui awning, but no brackets. Any chance you can make (or already have) a video on how you mounted the awning? I'm making a "diet" version of your awesome rig haha
@@SuperPakalja The size will vary depending on how long you make the end bored for your feet. You can make it a foot long or however long you want, just got to measure it out. I made mine to fit me, you can make yours to fit you and your girlfriend. I wish I could give you a yes/no answer but it's a custom setup.
I wish someone do something to the CRV besides the way it looks. I had one and they are not that great off road with the viscous rear diff. The civic guys lock the rear diff and put a range rover viscous coupling drive shaft that makes them all wheel drive all the time. Why is no one doing this for this off road anemic car?

Awesome to get a walk through. I would like to convert my RD1 to an overland rig. The tables are genius! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing! Great video. Such a cool setup :) Enjoy your travels.
Great Video, Thank you for sharing. I also like your CRV, they are good Vehicles. My Brother owns an Older CRV.
Love the set up gives me alot of good ideas for traveling out of the crv!
That's why I decided to upload a video
Nice setup. I own 2 Honda CRV's myself.
You came up in a recommended video, I thought I had already subbed? Guess not,but am now. 👍
Man! That’s a sweet set up!
😁 Thanks!
Hey, nice set up. How do you have the Jerry can mounted to the rear hatch?
What size tires do you run on your oem wheels? Will that size tire clear the wheel well and components without a lift? Thanks for any feedback🤙🏽
Always wanted to see one of these CRV's with a Snorkel; Curious how you find performance with it being just an FW/AWD vehicle?
It's an awd cr-v. I don't think it adds or reduced any performance. It sounds really good though 👌
I have a 99. Waiting on the lift and tires to arrive. Hey man you coming back to AZ? Would be nice to hit some trails with you. God bless
Not any time soon but id post on my Instagram @rt4wd_wolff if I go west again
@@rt4wd_wolff Cool
Where are ya ? Haven’t seen any new videos in awhile.
I've been stuck traveling for work. I should do a new video soon
Understand completely! Truck driver here. I have a 97 CRV that I want to work on so bad. Would love to get into Overlanding. Stay safe and fight fear!
Bro please show off your center console!!! Wanna do something similar
Such a dope rig. How did you mount the light bar within the grill?
I trimmed the center of the grill out and made some brackets out of aluminum to mount to the AC condenser mounts. Works pretty good
@@rt4wd_wolff Ah I see. It looks perfect in the grill like that. Thanks!
Awesome set up.
What are the dimensions of the matress you use?
I use a Klymit 2" air mattress. They are comfortable and small enough to fit anywhere.
What awning!?
how did you make the plate for the diy table on the back hatch?
I used a piece of scrap plexi glass
