I can confirm for all players interested, that you can complete "The Archive" mission on Venus on the normal, level 12 difficulty.
This will still give you what you need, so if you want to run through quickly, this is the way to do it.

+darius ward It's on venus and you would have completed it during the normal story arc. If I recall it's near the center of the map. I think it's simply called "The Archive" or some such

For the second part, heavy power coupling, you do need to dismantle a legendary heavy weapon. A common or rare will not work

@Arekkz Gaming the archive can be done on easy & you can use a checkpoint. The heavy weapon must be legendary!
the first part works on easy to and if you have a save point for the Archive mission you will save a bit of time
it is possible to get the archive node by playing the mission on normal mode. i tried it myself

Looks tough and it if all you get is a exotic Fusion weapon I might not bother for a while.....I mainly use the sniper rifle as my special weapon.

the destiny tracker apps dont work, used every one my app store had, and they are all wrong
says "starting in 0 minutes" and 3 minutes later still nothing appears.
+TheSSVNormandy you should wait 5 min after that must of the time it doesnt happen right away
It's random, the events do happen but in different servers. The problem isn't the app is that the events are randomized and limit themselves through the Bungie servers.

I've found that it's actually easiest with a striker max armor titan with the MIDA Multi-Tool, and Raze-Lighter, the MIDA for the tower, and the Raze-Lighter for the wizards because it one-shots pretty much everything, Raze-Lighter is the solar exotic sword for those who don't know.

What primary do you use? And is it from the KF raid, or what?
Do you have to break down a legendary heavy weapon because i didn't get anything when I broke down a rare rocket launcher? Also did a warsat on the moon and only got some mote of lights.

the warsat on the cosmodrome, there is a strike where u can defend the warsat which I believe is the s.a.b.e.r strike if I am not mistaken.

FYI rare heavys don't work only legendary and exotic work - can be year 1. And if you beat archive on easy it will work to get the item.
May be a bit late but there is never coming a warsat aty mars, been waiting a couple hours now and only the taken will spawn, is this still do-able at this time?

I dismantled two rare heavy weapons, got nothing until I dismantled a legendary heavy.

It only worked when I dismantled a legendary heavy so if you're not getting the heavy weapons piece from rares try a legendary and you will get it
i just did a warsat event and didn't get anything is there is the a specific type of warsat
just a heads up, you don't have to do the archive in hard mode.

First mission can be done on easy (ishtar) mars event has to defend the warstat i think, did the kill target and got nothing
archive can be done on Normal. just completed it
For the mission part you can do it on normal and it will give u the peice

So after I give Banshee the repaired fusion core I gotta wait? All these comments say "Yes, you have to wait."
But these comments were made years ago, maybe a lot of changes were made between then and now on Destiny. Will I still get the Sleeper Simulant if I wait long enough?

strange i never got a quest for this but it showed up on my map today so completed it :S also with tht heavy core part for the exotic core you need a legendary one i tried 5 blue heavy weps no good u need a leg heavy wep

might wanna correct yourself. it has to be legendary or higher when you dismantle a heavy. I did it three 3 times with rares.
On the earth warming does it have to be in the cosmodrome or the plague lands or does it not matter?????
you have to dismantle a legendary weapon for the node. not just any weapon
