Oh dude wow, this drummer is nuts. Insane beats and a lot of attention to nuances, absolutely love this guy playing. Wanting to buy that foundry reserve china ride because of him. MEINL has the best drummers, jeeze.
it's not supposed to cut. Many great players prefer a rather lightweight more mellow stick definition and that's ok. Great thing about this ride is, that it has a good crash sound. This drummer has his background in the more "jazzy, fusion" type sound, and that's where you want such a ride. I know very few professional grade drummers, which are not into metal or rock styles, that would want a "pingy" ride. you have much more dynamic control with lightweight rides. this one fits perfectly into his style

Amazing performance, and love your 80/20 Drummer conversation. I love to know what makes you amazing musicians make you tick. 😎
What a killer track! I wasn't expecting the fretless bass either!
Hehehe the drum fairies picked up the sticks/mallets/brushes and placed them neatly on the floor tom
had to watch it again to see that! 😂😂
i was so confused man 😂😂😂
That drop right after the crescendo at the start was insane 🔥
Absolutely phenomenal
My whole kit is now Meinl!
And Sonor...
Nice catch at 5:07 after realizing he picked up the mallets but needed the brushes lol.
Did Andy and Petar work together on their china cymbal placement?
Oh man 😂
Yes yes yes❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well, I wouldn't want to transcribe this 🤣!
I'm never going to like his choice of ride cymbal. It probably sounds great behind the kit... but it doesn't cut.
His drumming is great, as always.
Cool story bro
