To this day those expos uniforms and iconic emblem are the best ever. If and when they come back please keep the name and uniform intact.
When the former Expos who are now the Washington Nationals won the 2019 World Series a banner hanging from the Canadian Embassy to the United States, which was on the victory parade route, read "Montreal is celebrating too". In French, of course.
When your team leaves you, I never root for them because its like seeing your ex Girlfriend with somebody more handsome that you.

Expos had great scouts that found great players! Just THINK who got their start up in Montrea? A Crazy number hall of famers played there! It's SUCKS for the fans that seemed pretty rabid? Im from Chicago (born on the Northside, but became a Southside baseball fan) so we got to witness the AWESOMENESS of Andre Dawson w/the Cubs & Tim Raines w/the Sox. Two INCREDIBLE outfielders!

The problem with the Expos is money and trading away so many big stars and then you wonder why fans don't show up. Blue Jays went big in 92 and 93 with big free agent signings and it worked. The French Canadians are not very good business men and managed the Expos very poorly. They don't like Americans and they needed smart guys from Harvard business school but that would never happen. I thought the French were good in the arts so why was Olympic Stadium such a horrible place?? The Quebec government was never going to help with funding the new stadium. The Toronto Blue Jays are 1000 times smarter and lot of Expos fans jumped on the Jays bandwagon.
