The problem with America is most of the people have hardened their hearts against God. I hear no calls for repentance or concern for all the lost souls. The reason we are in so much trouble is we are all under God's wrath and judgment.
The reason we are in so much trouble is Christians don't vote and they don't even know what God's laws are. The New Testament paints a clear picture of believers as ambassadors of a different kingdom-one that is not of this world. As ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), our loyalty is to His kingdom, and our focus is on representing His reign rather than participating in the political systems of earthly nations. Just as ambassadors do not vote in foreign elections, we are not called to seek influence through human governments. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36), and throughout His ministry, He avoided political entanglements, modeling a life focused solely on His Father’s will. The early church also followed this example. The apostles preached the gospel and cared for the poor, the oppressed, and the needy without engaging in Roman politics. Their mission was to transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit, not through political agendas. Romans 13 instructs believers to live peaceably under governing authorities, not to change them or place their hope in them. Our role as ambassadors means living as citizens of heaven, not relying on political influence but instead radiating Christ’s love and truth. By remaining wholly devoted to God’s kingdom, we provide a true alternative, pointing to a hope that cannot be found within any earthly system.
the problem is not the ungodly because the ungodly will act just the way they are , ungodly behavior , but the problem is the supposedly godly people acting like the ungodly. i see Christians causing division, spreading hate instead love their light suppose to shine but it is not and for that reason if the ungodly blaspheme god's name is because the behavior of Christians
I am thankful we are free to choose to not worship any gods 😂 I am thankful women like yourself are what the majority of us consider "cult members". The problem with America is Christians thinking they own this land and anyone who doesn't live like them is the problem with America
I’m in Lexington Kentucky right now for work conference, and my Uber driver said he is a pastor, conversation went on and he asked me if I have a home church, I proudly said yes and I love my pastor, pastor Josh, (he laughed like I said something I was not supposed to say loud). I had to tell him I’m sorry but I truly love pastor Josh! I asked him if he knows pastor Josh Howerton, he said no. I was like you need to know him, like Google him, get him on TH-cam, make it a priority. He asked me if I know pastor Tony Evans, I said no! He was shocked, I told him maybe my pastor got me very satisfied that I don’t even get to know other pastors. I told him to watch the GenZ sermon because he said he helps youths a lot in public schools. Thank God for you pastor Josh, may God keep you for our kids, our families, your family and our communities. That election sermon, I spread it to so many friends and coworkers before Election Day, I sure thought it was supposed to be a national anthem, and I tried my best to make it breaking news. Thank you! God is good!
Wow, my SIL said this same thing to me about voting, when I was attacked by another SIL and brother on my choice and when they said to not even vote then. But this SIL and my brother, reminded me about my job as a Christian and that what my other brother and his wife, were speaking lies by the enemy. A friend posted the video of her pastor this past Sunday also speaking on the vote and how Christians need to vote, and everything this pastor is speaking to. It was so good.
If there’s a such thing as a “valley guy” that’s all i could think about with his choice of words & expressions! 😂 His thoughts were sharp, but he definately spends time talking to a younger generation. That aside, good points made & prayerfully it will have an impact in these critical days prior to voting!
Yes, Christians should vote in America please otherwise we here in the UK are already losing our freedom of speech to preach the gospel even praying silently,
Praise Jesus for this clear, concise, and bold Pastor! I watched his sermon a couple of weeks ago on voting and the election and was deeply impressed. Wish all pastors would be so bold. If all professing Christians voted and voted the Bible this nation would not be in the mess it’s in. We have no body to blame but the Church!
Maybe maybe not. People have individual consciences and sadly in this country life has been too good for too many for too long - they're fat, dumbed down, lazy, and don't have the slightest awareness that anything bad could ever ever happen in this country or to them. The church is only partially responsible.
@@L.Fontein7 In the last presidential election 35-40M Christians did not vote. If they voted, and voted Biblically, we would not be having this conversation. Praying God will Make America Godly Again! 🙏
From Australia, where voting is compulsory.I used to believe voting should be by choice, but in light of whats going on in America, I now believe it should be compulsory! People get the kind of government they deserve!!
I just wanna encourage those that may not agree with this Pastors views to simply just be praying for him.We have a much bigger problem than voting or not voting. My prayer is that every church in America begin to experience a Holy Ghost revival with evidence of God's miracle working power! We have become to casual and desynthesized to sin and the pattetns of this world. My heart cry is that the Body Of Christ in all churches beging to call on the power of God to break out and would touch every church, and they would experience healing, deliverance and signs and wonders! This is the ministry of Jesus! May there be an awakening in the church!! It's time that we as the body of Christ wake upband become discontent with just coming and receiving an encouraging word and living day after day week after week and year after year, with the same bondages and sinful struggles. May there be a desperation to encounter the Presence of God, that we might turn And stop conforming to the ways of the world!! The body of Christ looks too much like the world and we are to be Holy because our God is a Holy God. God what is it looking to raise up a powerful army of God So that we can be effective in winning souls for the kingdom of God!! Thank you for letting me speak my heart today! May you go higher today in the Kingdom of God! May your worship life and your prayer life go higher and deeper today in the name of Jesus!!May you develop a cry to the Lord in the secret place daily for your family, for your community for our nation!!! Come up higher sons and daughters of the most high God!!! ❤ 🙏 ✝️
So grateful for pastors who bring Scripture & theology to bear on all areas of life! I was very encouraged by Pastor Josh. I had 2 further thoughts. I was discipled in a pre-trib dispensational church. I have been investigating post-trib eschatology for some time now. Explaining Christians' effect on the culture as salt sowing corruption" is most likely a pre-trib view. It assumes that the culture is going to degrade no matter what Christians do & our job is to slow it down. But Jesus told us to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations...teaching them to obey all that He had commanded them. I don't think He would have given them/us this command if it were going to be impossible to fulfill. We can actually see Christians' role as being salt as "preserving the culture" rather than just slowing down the inevitable corruption. I also want to point out that The Great Commission does not exclude government officials in who we are to teach. All of the Christians I know who don't vote are dispensational pre-trib believers. This is a good example of why eschatology matters. I ultimately voted for Trump this time after much struggle. My fear is that the powers that be can get anyone elected by the tens of millions of Christians in our country by simply always presenting a more liberal, evil candidate as the alternative I'm almost 50 years old. This kind of thinking has ONLY pushed ALL candidates more & more left over time. At some point, we as Christians will HAVE to draw a line & say, "No." It's not only the culture at large that has become too comfortable with abortion. I think many Christians have come to accept that abortion is not going away. Would we have voted for a candidate who only wanted to allow the gassing of some Jews? Or only older Jews, but not kids? That is what we are continually doing. I wish you would have had enough time with Pastor Josh to get into why we had only 2 pro-choice candidates.
Praying for this election and our country. Joining the Christians across the land Monday night 11/4/24 at 6 central time to pray for our country. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Pastor Josh! Love this, thank you Allie for having Pastor Josh on, we attended Lakepointe Firewheel campus while we lived in Texas. Still listen to the messages and love seeing these two have a sit down spreading the Word!
Josh is an excellent wordsmith, but the ideas here are bunk. He used a copious amount of straw-manning, while also completely ignoring two critical truths... 1. Not voting is a kind of vote. 2. A vote is a tacit endorsement. Christians struggling to make a decision this year, shouldn't be guilty tripped by Josh into feeling like they have to vote Trump for fear of being the "weaker brother." Follow your conscience y'all. God gave it to you for a reason. For myself, I voted early and took the advice of Charles Spurgeon... "Of two evils, choose neither."
Glory!!! After so much struggles l now own a new house with an influx of $155,000.00 every month God has kept to his words,my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place.God bless America 🇺🇲
It is simply the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US amd abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Christina Ann Tucker, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
I’ve never understood why people argue about this. We are absolutely a republic, is there any group of people arguing we aren’t? We also vote our representatives into power which makes us democratic. Some of the worst countries in the world are republics and they are also the least democratic. Because a republic can be a Constitutional democracy, a socialist state, authoritarian, Communist, it doesn't matter. We are both, and definitely should be proud to be both democratic and constitutional. If anyone says we aren’t a republic, they are uneducated. But saying “we are a republic, not a democracy” is like saying a collie is a dog, not an animal.
As Christians, we do not have the luxury to remain neutral. We have an obligation to speak up and choose a side when we see evil. I am a member of Church of Christ. However, one of my favorite pastors to gain additional perspectives is Voddie Baucham. Allie interviewed Voddie about a year ago. Voddie recently spoke on Voting, and I believe this is a really good sermon. th-cam.com/video/iHp1tdsjte0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xKqAwLHDHZqFVVYC
I was disgusted when the left claimed "Jesus would get the V." Now I'm equally disgusted with those on the right who essentially are saying "Jesus would vote for Trump.". I know the Lord is sovereign and He will put whoever He wants in that oval office with or without my vote. And I'll accept the outcome because I, either way, He will provide us the leader He knows we deserve.
I agree with you that God will place in power whomever He choses. Esther 4:14 says For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” God's plan will never be frustrated His will, will always come to fruition with or without you but He gives you the honor to participate, but if you chose not to do so you are doing out of disobedience.
@@ackreftWell, I'm certainly not being silent. I'll tell anyone who will listen how wrong it is for Christians to insist that their brothers and sisters in Christ should violate their consciences. Choosing the lesser of evils is only choosing to help the enemy implement his agenda incrementally. Is that what Christ wants us to do?
@@TRUTHseeker-101Thank you. I'm feeling very alone out here. I've prayed much and given a lot of thought to my stance...only to be admonished by fellow Christians. It's such a shame.
You have heard that it was said, "Love your neighbor and hate your enemy." But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.
Can someone please send this to all these lost "pastors" "bishops" Bishop Sheard, heretic Jamal Bryant, Erica Csmpbell, William Murphy the list is long...
26:54 YES! Thank you for reminding me where I was just months ago having heated discussions and debates on FB on this point exactly, i call it "ironic hypocrisy" that their ideas, ideologies, thoughts, beliefs, feelings, "truth" (if you will) is "tolerated". More like accepted, supported and pushed, but my beliefs, thoughts, ideas don't get the same seat at the table, rather I'm not even allowed to have them or speak them. Lmao. They can "defend their faith", but i can't? Summarily I say to education and schools, if we're gonna include all religions but Christianity and attack it, and bring in ideas, ideologies, beliefs and crazy sexualization which is practically a religious-like doctorine and practices. Then let's put EVERYTHING on the table and let Truth reign. But if course anything that's not the truth and those that believe them would never want to have that at the same table. It says it all.
On neutrality: Revelation 3:16 (KJV 1900): "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." GREAT EPISODE!!! It will be my first time voting on Tuesday (in 25+ years of eligibility) 👍👏🇺🇸
Edmund Burke's quote, "The only thing necessary for evil to overcome is for good men to do nothing." is so appropriate. Not voting is doing "nothing" with a very consequential, NOT INconsequential, result.
@@angietorok8389I can appreciate your heart behind that statement but that is not what’s on the table. Election time is not the time for us to say , nope I’m not going to participate. It is not a perfect system. But no 3rd party has ever won, there’s no perfect candidate and how about voting the best policies in and THEN Making a charge to bring about changes.

The sad thing is that the slackers who haven't been voting - by the time they hear the sermon it's going to be too late to register to do anything anyway.
And here my dumbass was thinking the viral clip she showed would say something like, "Vote like Jesus would have: to protect the downtrodden, the poor, those less fortunate than us..." There's no hate like Christian "love" and they never fail to disappoint
Praise God foe bold pastors, preachers, that are calling out the evil being done. Reading toxic empathy, and shepards for sale. Too many pastors are straying to wokeness.😢 Blessed ste the people able to see the truth in what our stronger, bolder, good pastoes are saying. Im lucky, my pastor rocks. Loved this interview and it’s going to require another viewing for it all to sink in. Pastor Josh “rightly dividing” the word of truth for anyone who has ears to hear. God bless him!
I’m old enough to remember when conservatives actually believed that character mattered. It’s tiring to listen to people who correctly denounced Bill Clinton’s lack of moral character and currently denounce Biden and Harris’ lack of character to pretend that Trump’s lack of character doesn’t matter. Trump is the nominee because people wanted to pretend that his lack of character and lack of convictions was irrelevant. They overstate his conservatism, they downplay his claims that he’s not a sinner, and actively promoted the candidate with the worst character in the primaries. God doesn’t call us to actively seek people of bad character, especially when the person wears his moral rot on his sleeve. Actively eschewing better candidates with better policies and better character is not a point in the favor of primary voters. Trump has lost more than he’s won and he has dragged the GOP to the left, making them what should be a less viable option for Christians, but now we have people claiming that if Trump loses it’s the end of America. If you want victory and you don’t want it to be close, pick better candidates and stop the emotional blackmail.
There are a number of states that have pro abortion propositions to vote on. Florida, Nebraska, South Dakota et c maybe a few more ....if you feel led not to "choose between the lesser of two evils" please go vote if your state is having these propositions to vote on.
These exist because of the fact that women's lives have not been protected with these abortion bans....... there are hardly anybody who gets an abortion up until birth the reason that we want coverage up until birth is so that doctors and patients can make their own decisions when it comes to their own body their own health care. No pregnancy is the same no complication is the same and if you continue to stifle the rights of Physicians to take care of patients as well as nurses to take care of patients you're going to start losing all of your Health Care Professionals so have fun with that

Im very concerned and confused Allie, over the entire blast on Russell Moore. I read his article and he stated German Soldier and no name. Nazi noway, too much. But to say the least of these.. even if it was the disciples or believers and if they were treated wrong about having to go to supreme court because he didnt want to bake a cake for a gay couple... Onw yiu stated, I think that was wrong because as a business owner, you should be able to say no to anyone. In fact our liberties are more protected than I several years. Check Supreme Court records. BUT, We are here to share Jesus with all. The great commission. Praying, we can all learn and appreciate each other in Christ. I am listening to some of your interviews. Praying. JUst that message and a few more, shocked me and helped understand something I had not got in all these years.. Trying to save our religious liberties. THATS not a threat and even if so, we are here for others to hear the Good News!! The lost.... Praying

@NeerajRajput1990 Maybe you should listen to your wife. Which candidate did Jesus, Paul, Peter, James or John endorse. People are being led astray and that’s sad because all it takes is a look at the Scripture for guidance. Instead people would rather listen to Ken doll and Barbie.
As a believer I woke up in 2015 because I couldn't fathom post birth abortion and I realized how out of wack my heart was by not taking action prior to that and I decided to stand up for what was right
So over the 'it's a christian obligation to vote' BS guilt trip. Nowhere in the Bible did God say his kingdom is political. Stop bastardizing verses. #JesusChrist2024
These are not political issues but biblical issues! Marriage, gender, family, protection of the unborn etc. These are all biblical issues. It's a lie from the pit of hell to say they are just political.
There is no need to pray for the Kingdom of God to come to earth. The Kingdom of God on earth was launched when Christ rose from the dead. Your prayer should be that God shows you what you can do to advance his Kingdom. One thing you can do it love your neighbor and forgive your enemies.

I totally understand this for the USA but I'm not sure it always applies in all places at all times. I'm in the UK and we had a general election in July which saw the pro-abortion, pro-same sex marriage, pro every other abomination conservatives lose to the even more pro all of those things, socialist Labour party. Yes we have other parties but only one in the UK has any Christian values and they don't have a candidate in my area. There is literally no better of two evils.
The word says that there is a season for everything...I think, in cases like yours and now Americas...that season has passed. Both paths lead the nation to judgement so I'm not taking part in it.

Question : why do followers of Christ split up into denominations and not just be the church of Christ - Also the word pastor only used once in the Bible .
There are some principles that are shared by all Christians. But there are others that not everyone agrees on, predestination for instance. Those are the issues that spark different denominations.

the problem is not the ungodly because the ungodly will act just the way they are , ungodly behavior , but the problem is the supposedly godly people acting like the ungodly. i see Christians causing division, spreading hate instead love their light suppose to shine but it is not and for that reason if the ungodly blaspheme god's name is because the behavior of Christians
I am thankful we are free to choose to not worship any gods 😂
I am thankful women like yourself are what the majority of us consider "cult members".
The problem with America is Christians thinking they own this land and anyone who doesn't live like them is the problem with America
Love this! Let’s use our voices/platforms to bring God glory!!
I really enjoyed his recent sermon on this topic. Never heard of him before but it was delivered perfectly.
I do believe we need to pray together more. I appreciated this episode
Great message by Josh Howerton. ☮️💟✝️
So proud of my Pastor! And thankful for the open conversation y’all had at this time! 😁🙌🏻
Gracias Pastor ❤
This was worth listening to,thank you
Love my paster Josh!!! Thank you for sharing such a clear biblical message 🙌🏻
If there’s a such thing as a “valley guy” that’s all i could think about with his choice of words & expressions! 😂 His thoughts were sharp, but he definately spends time talking to a younger generation. That aside, good points made & prayerfully it will have an impact in these critical days prior to voting!
How he called her dude multiple times. Nooooooo lol
Yeah the “dude” was annoying me for some reason.
Well said
Maybe maybe not.
People get the
kind of government they deserve!!
What happens if you don’t vote in Australia?
May there be a desperation to encounter the Presence of God, that we might turn
And stop conforming to the ways of the world!!
Every Christian on the fence or voting democrat needs to watch this!
Sooo good!
Praying for this election and our country. Joining the Christians across the land Monday night 11/4/24 at 6 central time to pray for our country. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
That’s my pastor!!! Woohoo
Christians struggling to make a decision this year, shouldn't be guilty tripped by Josh into feeling like they have to vote Trump for fear of being the "weaker brother."
Follow your conscience y'all. God gave it to you for a reason.
For myself, I voted early and took the advice of Charles Spurgeon...
"Of two evils, choose neither."
That’s my pastor!❤
So grateful to the Lord for a good, godly, Bible preaching pastor!!!🙏
Glory!!! After so much struggles l now own a new house with an influx of $155,000.00 every month God has kept to his words,my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place.God bless America 🇺🇲
That's a major turn around. Praise be to Jesus our Lord. Hallelujah
But then, what do you do? How do you come about that in that period?
It is simply the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US amd abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
Big thanks to Mrs Christian Evelyn Mackie
Her top notch guidance and expertise on digital market changed the game for me
I voted early today for the only choice there is to make Trump/Vance 2024!!!
no I voted for kamala Harris.... trump is a dictator
it will be a train wreck presidency
$75k biweekly changed my mindset and behavior, my goals, my family and I've to say this video has inspired me a lot!!!!❤️
I'm feeling really motivated.
Could you share some details about the bi-weekly topic you brought up?
Yeah sounds impossible, yet with Christina Ann Tucker, I've come to the conclusion that financially anything is possible. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend and a whooping $320k in savings already, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in debt then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Christina A. Tucker is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!
Wow 😱 I know her too!
Miss Christina Ann Tucker is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
I got started with a miserly $1500. The results have been mind blowing I must say TBH!!
@alliebethstuckey Love Pastor Josh! Have you ever thought having Pastor Mark Driscoll and Graham Allen on your show?
(18:30) Correction: Josh Howerton mixes it up-"reward evil, punish good"
... although he's actually right about the current government.
THANK YOU! its so nice for someone to state that we ACTUALLY LIVE IN A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC
His sermon actually made me pray and in my area Trump was going to win. I couldn't vote for either canidate after hearing his sermon .
Yes! Love your reply!
Al Mohler did both.
I wish more pastors would speak up! Appreciated this episode!
Can someone please send this to all these lost "pastors" "bishops"
Bishop Sheard, heretic Jamal Bryant, Erica Csmpbell, William Murphy the list is long...
On neutrality:
Revelation 3:16 (KJV 1900): "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
GREAT EPISODE!!!
Voting to fix a broken system through that same broken system is doing nothing. Courageous people will insist on something entirely different.
@@angietorok8389what is that "entirely different" option?
@@angietorok8389I can appreciate your heart behind that statement but that is not what’s on the table. Election time is not the time for us to say , nope I’m not going to participate. It is not a perfect system. But no 3rd party has ever won, there’s no perfect candidate and how about voting the best policies in and THEN Making a charge to bring about changes.

Thanks to you. I will vote Kamela.
Prior I was trump
Now. I get it!
i voted for kH also... i believe her opinion of trump is correct
Also the american momey still says, " In God we trust." Right?
There are a number of states that have pro abortion propositions to vote on. Florida, Nebraska, South Dakota et c maybe a few more ....if you feel led not to "choose between the lesser of two evils" please go vote if your state is having these propositions to vote on.
I'm just going to vote no for prop 3 and 4 in Florida
Agree. If there are propositions do it. In my state there are none so for the first time since 1980 I am staying home.

Please Ally go and vote stop being so scared!!!!
But to even compare that and the others to persecuted and the goats and sheep and the least of these..????. Is called, " You are scared of losing your religious liberty.), along with the others now thinking like this , very sad. That is not true at all. Praying
This is great! Thanks so much for sharing!

Was there a complaint? I’m not sure why this is a thing.

These are not political issues but biblical issues! Marriage, gender, family, protection of the unborn etc. These are all biblical issues. It's a lie from the pit of hell to say they are just political.
What about David??

Actually our situation in the US is not that different than yours.
The word says that there is a season for everything...I think, in cases like yours and now Americas...that season has passed. Both paths lead the nation to judgement so I'm not taking part in it.

You should look at what the actual Bible says instead.
What was wrong with that? He just said the truth
(16:34) _Jesus goes well then give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what's God's. Jesus is drawing on our theology from Genesis. Jesus is implicitly asking everyone the question, so whose image & likeness is on you. Then you need to give yourself too because you were created in the image of God. Here's the point and this is what what a lot of Christians miss, Caesar was created in the image of God, so Caesar belongs to God_
_Every Civic leader is created in the Lord's image and therefore they owe their allegiance and bent knee to to King Jesus_

Did you notice that at 18:31 into the video, the pastor claims that government has a responsibility to reward evil?
Lol yes I noticed that too! He meant that they are there to reward good and punish evil. He continues and says they do the opposite of rewarding evil and punishing good.

There are some principles that are shared by all Christians. But there are others that not everyone agrees on, predestination for instance. Those are the issues that spark different denominations.
