This was so nostalgic for me it almost brought me to tears. I’m 20 years old and remember what an impact this had on me as a child. Kids in this day and age will never understand how great transformers were from 2001-2013.
If someone asks you to name a hero who wears red and blue, most will say superman or spiderman, but few will say Optimus. Optimus is a true hero not a false Hollywood hero who yells and acts tough.
I couldn’t disagree more. TFP is good but Michael Bay’s Transformers movies are some of the most damaging pieces of media for the Transformers. Not to mention there are stories like Last Stand of the Wreckers and Transformers Animated that exist.

WHY DOES THIS FEEL EXTRA NOSTALGIC- I started rewatching Transformers Prime due to my cousins putting it on in the living room and I watched it with them 😂 and than I found G1 and watched that to- and than Beast Wars which I love and Energon and Cybertron and Armada! Than Tfa (I’m on Season 3-) and than it was Cyberverse and WFC and Siege than it was Beast Wars ll and than the Comics! Mtmte and LL and Sins of the Wreckers are my favorite oh and Rom Vs Transformers and than Rescue Bots and Rescue bots academy And that’s how I got back into Transformers after 5 years- I’m more into it than I was a few years back -but ya know- 😂

Optimus prime has to be one of the absolute legendary and greatest characters in the history of fiction. He always has been and always will be.
