The memories came back and I remembered how much fun I used to have as Ezio, Connor and Edward. I don't know how I stopped geting the game every year
Times change man..ubisoft went from a visionary studio with a dream to money hungry studio quick..everything changes but atleast our memories for this game always remain the same
Ezio to me was the pinnacle of the AC series. To me, the “holy trinity” of assassins was Altaïr, Ezio, and Edward. Connor was of course important but to me, these were the 3 assassins I always go back to. But Ezio has something no one else offered. I don’t think anyone has to agree with me, but when I say Ezio had the most impact in the series, I mean that with all my heart. Side Note: Ezio made me interested in foreign languages and now I study them in college. Crazy how video-games can change what we love to learn!
I was 13 when the first AC game launched in 2007 with Altair. I was hooked immediately. But getting to experience the Ezio trilogy is what made me fall in love with everything AC. The music, the characters, the messages about life and rebirth, the conflicting ideals of the human mind of what is right and wrong.... This series became my all time favourite. When Brotherhood came out and they introduced multiplayer, I played it for hours on end, every day. Met one of my best friends on there. It's unbelievable to think how much games like this one can impact one's life. I wish so very much that the old Ubisoft teams stuck around to direct the franchise the way we wanted it. Desmond's story felt rushed and unfinished. There was SO MUCH potential with his story and the passion Ubisoft had back then was much more grounded and purposeful. I'm not too fond of the open world games we've been getting, they're alright to me. It's very hard to build connections to characters like we did with Altair and Ezio. Here's to hoping future games are better though! : ) I also was obsessed with this song. I had it on my spotify and used it for studying through my school years ;D
I think that assassin's creed 3 should have been set in modern times as Desmond, could have been really cool to have the story come together in the present day and have it all mean something, who knows what they could have done from there?
It’s crazy that despite not reading the language this is written in, I understand exactly what quote this is, and it still evokes the emotions it does in my mother tongue.

this man has a heartbreaking story, father and brother killed in front of him which he ends up burying, doesn't have enough time to grieve because he had to take care of his remaining family, and when he is at a point of stability his uncle is killed in front of him, Ezio is a damn legend
His story is one of the saddest but edward lost everyone and everything, connors whole tribe was killed, shay had to kill all of his friends same as edward, arno loses all his loved ones and gets kicked from the botherhood, bayeks son gets slaughtered in front of him (with the bond you find out they had makes it even sadder). Assassin's creed seems to be a story of someone losing everything they ever loved and proceed to seek out the brotherhood to fight for it. Edward loses mary and joins the brotherhood, Connor loses his tribe and joins the brotherhood, Arno's dad and then later elise's dad are killed and he seeks out the brotherhood, Shay has to leave the brotherhood and then seeks out the templars for peace and order but later kills everyone he loved, bayeks son is killed and him and aya proceed to join the hidden ones. All looking for a form of redemption.
The thing with this song that I believe that captivates me, and I would assume other people is the slow build up of the song starts out very light, melodic, it keeps a very medieval vibe through out the song, as the song goes on it gives such an emotional like "haunting" vibe through the song that's honestly the best way I can describe it. Towards the end we get a nice distorted sound coming from the song almost like a medieval-rock/metal. The song has so much emotion drawn out of you its so captivating and engaging, the weird passionate, haunting, heavy emotion I get through the song is so amazing it's incredible work by the composer. The song will by far be the thing that people know AC for, it will forever be one of the main things people take from the game.
Assassin's Creed is my childhood. I used to love every game to bits, but nowadays, in times where Valhalla is the most sold Assassin' Creed, my affection unfortunately started to dwindle. I really hope that future games will have a similar feeling the first games gave me. I love this franchise and I really want it to be successful, but not the way it is currently portrayed.
Whenever I’m overly stressed or having a panic attack, I listen to Ezio’s family to help steady myself. I truly love this slowed version of it, it has helped me numerous times in college. Currently, helping me to relax so I can sleep, so I can take my last final.
This theme will always make me angry and sad at the same time. It's Ezio's emotional mindset in the first game. but as you progress through his life it stays there like a memory of who he was and what he originally set out for. it's the most dramatic revenge score I've ever heard and it hits harder because of the Character behind it. slowed and reverbed to perfection? Definitely.
13 years after, I started replaying this trilogy again...man we had a great development in gameplays and graphics and cinematics...but such greay history, twists, dialogs and attaching characters...we are no more having ones of that kind....Ezio Auditore Da Firenze's collection is the best saga of AC, and this ost, what can I say 😢
Not only is the music so goddamn emotional to the viewers, you chose the perfect image of ezio here, to me perfection isn't the audio, it's the combination of that audio with the image
This has to be my favorite theme in gaming it makes me feel so many emotions that I got when playing assassin's Creed and I'll always revisit this from time to time
Cuando otros hombres sigan ciegamente la verdad, recuerda: "nada es verdad" Cuando otros hombres estén limitados por la moral o la ley, recuerda: "todo está permitido" Actuamos en las sombras para servir a la luz Somos asesinos
It is a good life we lead, brother The best, and may it never change.. And may it never change us. Some of the deepest insight of the many years of ezios story we lived..
What a game it was i wish i could play it for the first time again, be little again experience what I experienced back then, just deeply treasure those memories .
"It is a good life we lead brother. The best, may it never change, And may it never change us." Its kinda sad how I'll never be able to experience games like I did before. Assassin's Creed just had that "charm" that no other game could ever come close to - and it spoiled me forever.
This feels like nostalgia incarnate, and I didn’t play AC2 until recently, the only ones I played before AC2 were Black Flag, Rogue, and Origins. All of them were fantastic, but Origins and Rogue hit different with their Ezio’s Family versions. Origins is my favorite, but the other games hold a permanent place in my heart. “Requiescat in pace” is a line that is engraved in my memory forever, and the only game that is more nostalgic for me is Skyrim.
i don’t have any expressions to explain and describe this song and how amazing truly it is because with this song i just remind my childhood every time i used to play and be connected to assasin’s creed 2..i think this song can explain you only one word..Peak.
AC 2 was the first assassins creed game i played, and i fell in love with it almost immediantly, its impacted me quite alot, and i can officially say ive played all three games in the ezio trilogy and beaten them, revelations was a good ending, brotherhood was my favorite gameplay wise, but two was my favorite overall, just seeing ezio going from a brash young man to a absolute badass wise master assassin in that one game alone gave me the chills thinking back on it. And ill forever cherish the ezio games as one of the few games to ever make me actually cry over a fictional character.
I don't know why but whenever I hear Ezio's family music I just get way too emotional and on the verge of crying by remembering how difficult were the lives of Ezio and Altaïr, like they both lots their loved one in front of them, got betrayed only when they needed them the most and we're left to die. But in the end, they both became one of the best protagonist ever and won every1s heart and well in game even at the end they both won their best.
Exit is really the only Assassin we all follow from the womb to the tomb…. Literally. No wonder he’s the one most AC players connect to- we literally are his life companion from beginning to the bittersweet end..
Not gonna lie this made my eyes tear because all of the good memories I had playing AC 2 and brother-Hood and also Revelations, ahhh how I miss the good old days. 😭
Each time i hear it i immediately remember random every ezio moment every laugh and smile every minute of running around Florence, Rome and Istanbul so amazing a wonderful feeling
Assassin's Creed continuing is cool and all. But don't we all feel that this was Ezios story? Deep down Master Auditore is still in my heart. He will never be forgotten. This was your tale, Ezio. Assassin's Creed means you and it always will. And somehow I find it to be a warm and beautiful thought that if Assasin's Creed goes on long enough, there will be new enjoyers of it that only hear and know stories of the man that came before and that was in the focus of this tale for so long. The wise one called Ezio Auditore. Requiescat in Pace.
Recently played 2, and now playing brotherhood 😢 Connor used to be my favorite but after playing through most of the beginning of brotherhood, ezio had become my new favorite assassin. His story especially the improvement and maturity of the graphics and features in the game brotherhood made me fall in love with his story. I'm glad to be finally discovering this stuff now that I'm older. As an aspiring filmmaker, I thank all those Ubisoft people back in the day for making a wonderful character. 😢 God bless ezio and old Ubisoft. I also played AC2
The best way i can put this is, thank you thanks for making this, and thanks to ubisoft for making mine and millions of people's childhoods great this genuinely made me shed 1 single tear not crying a tear, of joy
Ah yes all the good times this game gave me i even have it as pfp, as a kid it was one of my favourites and i loved kyd's work on the soundtrack i listened it 4 months ago for the first time after 5 years and i teared up. No its not just a game its way more. Stay safe brothers nula e reale capisco elecito
This series is masterpiece, no doubt. Brotherhood version is another level. Ezio's family music, game aesthetics, cinematics, story, characters, emotions everything was awesome about this one. One day I came across the music, then I revisited the game and played this version again. Revived memories from last few years 😇. Thank you Ubisoft 🙏🏻 I'll never forget this creation. It will always me in my memories. I hope future generations come across using Animus for this one😅
I feel very late to this- but I've started reading the first book, Renaissance. My older brother has played all the AC games and I'm wanting to too. I always used to hear my brother listening to this and I wondered where it was from. Hearing it now brings back a lot of memories...
Playing as ezio from arrogant young aristocrat to a badass master assassin in his prime, and finally to an ageing but wise assassin in his twilight years is something that I’ll never forget.

Indeed . It will be always nostalgic and be remembered by the Og’s back in the early 2000’s . (Like us)
Assassin's Creed is my childhood.
Here's hoping for mirage
@@joaquinglassmann62el.91 Mirage looks promising. I hope they don't f*ck it up.
@@amunakoy1799 Hope it won’t be too rpgish like odyssey and Valhalla…
aha..ahah... this... aged liked milk... fck im crying...@@amunakoy1799
@@amunakoy1799They did 😂😂😂
Ubisoft immortalized themselves after making ac2. Masterpiece!
Whenever I’m overly stressed or having a panic attack, I listen to Ezio’s family to help steady myself. I truly love this slowed version of it, it has helped me numerous times in college. Currently, helping me to relax so I can sleep, so I can take my last final.
Ezio's Family is already a masterpiece, it doesn't need changing
THANK YOU! finally
This made it even better tbh
@@idrinkchockymilk195 ur racist
This theme will always make me angry and sad at the same time. It's Ezio's emotional mindset in the first game.
but as you progress through his life it stays there like a memory of who he was and what he originally set out for.
it's the most dramatic revenge score I've ever heard and it hits harder because of the Character behind it.
slowed and reverbed to perfection? Definitely.
Oh God, AC was part of my childhood, today when I listen to the soundtracks I start to tear up and see how difficult life is.
I have always loved this song, but NEVER expected to hear it slowed / reverb. Just beautiful thank you
Thank you very much :))
“Its a good life we lead brother, may it never change and may it never change us.”
Requiescat in pace.. Ezio.
This literally plays in my head whenever I get to visit my brother. We led a great life, the best. Things changed, but it never changed us.
In November 13, 2007 i buy my first game Assassin's Creed…that's leap of faith is gave a different point of view in my life 🍂
13 years after, I started replaying this trilogy again...man we had a great development in gameplays and graphics and cinematics...but such greay history, twists, dialogs and attaching characters...we are no more having ones of that kind....Ezio Auditore Da Firenze's collection is the best saga of AC, and this ost, what can I say 😢
The most Epic music I have ever heard!!!!!!!!
thank you very much :))
Not only is the music so goddamn emotional to the viewers, you chose the perfect image of ezio here, to me perfection isn't the audio, it's the combination of that audio with the image
Thank you man..really means a lot :))
Man I loved that trilogy and I still play it , requescat in pace Ezio Auditore Da Firenze.
this is just gold
pure gold
nothing will ever beat this music, a beautiful epochal song bringing back so many memories related to the entire ezio saga
This has to be my favorite theme in gaming it makes me feel so many emotions that I got when playing assassin's Creed and I'll always revisit this from time to time
i have no words this is a masterpiece good job bro

The best, and may it never change..
And may it never change us.
Some of the deepest insight of the many years of ezios story we lived..
What a game it was i wish i could play it for the first time again, be little again experience what I experienced back then, just deeply treasure those memories .
"It is a good life we lead brother.
The best, may it never change,
And may it never change us."
Its kinda sad how I'll never be able to experience games like I did before.
“Requiescat in pace” is a line that is engraved in my memory forever, and the only game that is more nostalgic for me is Skyrim.
this masterpiece is so good that its used in every ac game
Perfection is the only way to describe it. I may not be an assassin, but this sure as hell makes me feel like one. Thank you Psychic.
When I saw the word "perfection" I suddenly clicked 😁
and it was❤
Thank you very much❤️
“It is a great life we lead brother, and may it never change, and me it never change us”
I'll never forget this game, I still remember the day I bought it and the excitement and happyness I felt, it will forever be my favourite game
This makes me feel like I just saved the Holy Roman Empire
Barca legion wtf
@@AliKhatri18177 hahaha :))))
BarcaLegion is from Italy confirmed ✅
Well thank god we are actually getting an assassin based ac game now
i don’t have any expressions to explain and describe this song and how amazing truly it is because with this song i just remind my childhood every time i used to play and be connected to assasin’s creed 2..i think this song can explain you only one word..Peak.
Perfection, absolute freaking perfection.
Hi friend, can you rate my edits? If you like it subscribe))
I admit, I was skeptical about this version but you delivered and it sounds amazing. All we need is an extended version.
Now i know what will i do for holidays. Thank you kind stranger for making me remember what Ezio games meant to me. May it never change.
Can't wait for mirage to come out. The ezio trilogy with forever be preserved in time as the pinnacle of assassin's Creed
It is a good life we lead brother........... The best may it never change. May it never change us
I don't know why but whenever I hear Ezio's family music I just get way too emotional and on the verge of crying by remembering how difficult were the lives of Ezio and Altaïr, like they both lots their loved one in front of them, got betrayed only when they needed them the most and we're left to die.
For a normal person this is just a beautiful piece of music but for those who played and lived the events this is a STORY.
Not gonna lie this made my eyes tear because all of the good memories I had playing AC 2 and brother-Hood and also Revelations, ahhh how I miss the good old days. 😭
Wow this is incredible! Great work!
We were living the golden days and we didn’t notice.
Each time i hear it i immediately remember random every ezio moment every laugh and smile every minute of running around Florence, Rome and Istanbul so amazing a wonderful feeling
Brought me to tears... the memories of Ezio... wow.. this is truly a masterpiece... RESPECT❤
Thank you man :))
To me, almost every song is better slowed. Thank you ❤❤❤
The only slowed and reverb version that actually is beautiful, all because its used on the right song.
Still remember the heartbreak I had when this played during ax brotherhoods ending I was just baffled
I also played AC2
same
I practice stoicism on a daily basis and replaying the games made me look at it from a different perspective.
I never knew I needed this until the moment it popped up on my Recommendations
It's not tears, it's just good childhood memories....
I got chills from just listening to this
So many memories 🥲🥲🥲
The best way i can put this is, thank you thanks for making this, and thanks to ubisoft for making mine and millions of people's childhoods great this genuinely made me shed 1 single tear not crying a tear, of joy
Ah yes all the good times this game gave me i even have it as pfp, as a kid it was one of my favourites and i loved kyd's work on the soundtrack i listened it 4 months ago for the first time after 5 years and i teared up. No its not just a game its way more.
Stay safe brothers nula e reale capisco elecito

This is just beautiful music I can’t stop myself from listening to music like this
Never thought it could get better
Thank you man :))
Damn, this is perfection.😳🤤
Sometimes you go far away and think about it
This series is masterpiece, no doubt.
