Beautiful little wasp. It's one of the chalcid wasps (Chalcidoidea). Lovely channel by the way.
Love your content man, big inspiration for me
Much appreciated!
Yes brummy lad you’re gonna go far keep it up amazing work always 🙌💯
Beautiful images as always. Great colors. I enjoy watching your videos. Inspiring and always learn lots. Well done.
The insect at 5:07 looks like some species of stone fly. They are an aquatic insect in juvenile stage.
You're doing a great job, very inspiring. I'll be going to Cornwall soon and can't wait, now I'll have to take the macro lense also. I'm also into landscapes and wanted to learn stacking for that too and photo editing but after learning photoshop is subscription only , i don't know what to do. I'm getting on a bit i suppose but am used to using computers and was hoping to develope my hobby for later years when i retire.
Thanks! Whereabouts in Cornwall you going? Adobe is a subscription which is a bit annoying. But you can get the photography bundle (Photoshop + Lightroom) for £10 a month which isn't too bad
@@JamieSpensley Holywell Bay. The subscription was my concern if i'm not using it all the time, if you can easily pause a month or more and start again when needed it's not bad i suppose.
Another great video Jamie. Really inspiring stuff! The insect on the post was a stonefly most likely from the family Nemouridae. Their immature phase lives in clean streams and rivers. The caterpillars you found are cinnabar moth caterpillars. Their foodplant is ragwort. Not sure about the wasp, possibly an ormyrid wasp but don't quote me on that. Looks like you caught in the act of ovipositing. No wonder it didn't move!
Amazing colors on those beetles and wasp! Great pictures as always!
Very nice catch for 1 hour, especially the wasp!
Thank you! The wasp was definitely my favourite
What can I say, just WOW! wonderful photos
verry good pictures 👍
Thank you!
5:04 stonefly
Entertaining! I often have limited shoot time after work - I can relate. I think a stonefly at 5:07. Sorry, don't know UK species. At 04:56, that seems to be a flower beetle (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oedemera_nobilis).
dude, you should make a budget guide
Don't you think that after the photo session you could at least be arsed to try to find out the names of the insects you take pictures of and then put the names up next to the pics?
Go grab a snickers Mick.
Don't you think that after his photo session you could at least be arsed to try to find out the names of the insects he takes pictures of and then add in the comments below?
If you care so much, why don’t you do it? Otherwise piss off mate.
Great video...
