  • Have you recently purchased an externally routed Coast Dropper Post from PNW Components with the Puget 2x Lever and are in need of some help to install it on your bike? Follow along with the step by step installation video above so you can back to riding as quickly as possible!
Note: As all bike frames are different, we cannot give you accurate directions in regards to routing your dropper post's cable housing. Please follow your manufacturer's guidelines for how to route internal cables.
Installation of a PNW Components Coast Dropper Post and Puget 2x Lever requires the following tools:
    - 5mm, 4mm, 3mm, 2mm Allen Wrenches
    - Cable Cutters (MTB specific cable cutters are preferred, but not required)
    - Pliers
    - Torque wrench
    - MTB Shock Pump if adding pressure to your Coast
Disclaimer: Please follow recommended torque specs of PNW Components and your bike's frame manufacturer! Exceeding torque specs can damage your bike, which can in turn lead to injury and even death.

Couldn't be more stoked with my coast dropper and with PNW in general. Their customer support is phenomenal. Had a question regarding install after watching this video, called PNW, and got an answer pretty much immediately.

Excellent, excellent video! Great detail and the right pacing. A video that emulates PNW components - quality.

Good video. Apart from the air adjust, this is the same arrangement and fitting instructions as for the Brand X Ascend II, and better than the 2 or 3 videos I looked at for that. Only thing I did different was to mount the lever outside of, towards the handlebar end from, the brake. There was room on my set up between the grip and the brake, and it means I can operate the lever without taking my hand off the bar grip.

We're happy to hear that the video helped you through your install and that you were able to find a lever position that works for you! Happy riding!

What does the product come with

Hi Charlie! When ordering any of our droppers from the PNW website you have the opportunity to add a lever to your purchase. If you don't add a lever, the dropper post will be the only product in the box. However, if you order a dropper post and a lever, a cable kit will be included. Cheers!

Hey@@PNWComponents , It's my error apologies! 😂 after fiddling with the seat relief I understood what the error was. The kit itself is very good quality. Thanks anyway! 🤙
