The story may be bad, the gameplay may be tedious and janky, the actual in game models may be terrifying, the animations may be unsettling, but the music is good. I just like it a lot. This game does a lot to emulate games like persona and earthbound. But only the music succeeds in capturing the charm of games like that.
I can’t believe anyone thought it was a good idea that the team helps a guy to understand his sister killed herself, and that she isnt there anymore, and when the guy starts talking about it afterwards, the main character actually tells him to shut the fuck up
Liverpudlian Dream Alex is the most unlikely protagonist I’ve seen in awhile even the Batter from Off wasn’t as bad even though he was a dick. also that cutscene is kinda like Persona expect the main protagonist is a asshole to someone going though a emotional moment instead of comforting them, and yes it make me sick.

Without the HEY HOOOO EEEEY I think this is perfect and really represents what this game tried to be. Honestly they weird heys and hos represent the flaws it came out with. The art style, humor, heck! Even the battle system is charming. The battling could be better but it suffers from the fact that characters aren’t that powerful. I like the story and world building. I even enjoy Alex! Characters like Michael and Vella also just give me pure joy. Sure this game has flaws but... I really enjoyed it.
