I had completely forgotten that Meerkat is Erdmännchen. For nonGerman speakers, it translates to "little Earth men." I haven't had to think about animals in German in so long! Your daughter is a sweetie. Is she learning any English? You did get her to say 'pumpkin' eventually lol. Would love more tours with your little one ❤
I have heard from my Spanish teachers the term "code switching" in relation to changing to speak or think from one's native tongue to another. For me that's mostly English to Spanish, although if I were to learn another language, it would be Dutch and Japanese-sorry mann
